Dont do these retarded min-3bets.
Also you should repot over his small 4bet because thats rarely better hand.

I floated around my 3-bet sizing to encourage action out of an odd player

5-betting there would be terrible given the fact that he basically has only 4-bet once in the entire session of 250 or so hands. I see the conclusion you draw from his sizing but I don't see it being logically that good a move against a bad player who will show up with KKxx/AAxx quite often.

Your reasoning is inconsisent.

If you think small 3bet "encourages action" then obviously 5-bet is better because premise presumes that he will 4-bet light.

If you dont think small 3bet "encourages action" then don't 3bet small.

encourage action in PLO while being oop? Doesn't he have a guaranteed 30% with any hand?

new shit has come to light... a-and... shit! man...

so?

Hero 5-bets to 18
Villain calls

Pot = 36
Effective stack = 41

so pretty much PSB left and villain is forced to call with any pair on most boards.
If he folds bare guthot he loses 30% equity vs single overpair/top pair.
