villain is a reg

should I be folding those marginal spots that I know that villain doesn't rep much value hands ?
since he prob 3bets AQ pre, and c/r A8 most of the time on the flop
if the river wasn't a club, changes something?

I'm very comfortable with a fold here. I don't think he is bluffing enough to make the call ev+. Only bluff he might have is 9T/JT/KT that decided to cc flop, xR turn and bluff the worst river(pretty optimist imo)

Id like to have your thoughts on your turn bet.

if we are folding river, why do we call turn?

Well I think we should not bet turn for some reasons.

-We don't have 3 streets against Qx
-We don't valuetown ourselves if villain has a better A
-We don't open ourselves for a guessing game when villain xR turn and bet river
-We can bluffcatch river when villain decides to turn 8x into bluff or wtv hand he might have called flop with(very effective against fish.. happens less against regs but still works sometimes)
-Good for the balance of the line bet flop, check turn, bet river.

he was folding 30% to cbets , defending 42% at thew BB, saw him calling A high boards with underpairs and shit like that, which I think is ok vs people who cbets their whole range in ace high boards, so I was cbetting and 2 barrelling a lot, plus he wasn't check raising enough to make me feel unconfortable cbetting a lot

so as I am barreling as bluff those A high boards I was balancing my range by barreling those naked top pairs

This is a situation where I love to punish their weak flop calling range and let them bluff river by checking turn.

Then folding turn would be best I think.

I don't think that's necessary since we won't have much value against his weaker range.
