You got coolered? Also, isn't it much better to check river?

at that moment I think my reasoning was that this ace would be scary and he may check behind river making me lose value or that it would improve his nfd so he'd call this

if you check river do you call or shove if he bets? he didn't seem like a terrible player, also not really nitty

seems like a 3bet or fold pf situation
(if hes not nitty he gonna outplay u to many times to call this, plus you get in marginal spots post flop (again if he is not nitty). Plus does he always open minraise button, how often etc?)

(if he opens alot he can have any 2 pair, if he is agro to raise turn with nothing he is still betting any ace, so i prolly check ship. I think he cbet 87, so only beat by 47 or 42 type hand, maybe slowplayed set)

aint no to tuition for having no ambition

When he checks that flop I expect him to have a piece/Ahi most of the time.
When he raises turn like this I never expect him to have a draw and only put him on air, slowplayed monsters and turned two pair.
If we put him on 100% value and the most narrow value range possible he'll show up with 33, 66, 99, 55 and 65. Even versus that range we have 47.4%
We need ~25%. I don't know a whole lot about ICM but still seems like a super easy call. I mean, even if that's his range (not likely), if we win
we will be big favourites to take down the tourney, and STTs are about getting 1st. If we lose we still have 7.5bb and even though or pos is bad we can still come back.

I'd shove versus a bet and of course call shove. I think it's also possible for him to have badly played Ahi/strange bluff here. Bit of a ramble but this is something along my thought process.
