Maybe it's best to never 3 barrel AK here then!!

Wow this is so funny I should see this hand.
Because I don't visit here very often and I was just randomly going here to read an article I had bookmarked and I recognized the SN so I decided to take a look hahaha!!

Nice valueshove! I was pretty shocked when you showed QQ because I though you would be like really polorized in this spot and you would never shove QQ or even KK/AA here and I had a blocker for AA so I was so sure you were bluffing well because most regs don't shove in that spot that light for value.

I was actullt thinking about raising turn to making you fold QQ/KK/AA but I thought you had much more bluffs then value here,
one reason that you 4bet to 42 so I thought you had more hands that played well in 4bet pots and all the random 4bet bluff hands that had equity would play the same way.

Any specific reason you shoved so light for value against me?
Did you think I was a fish or a hero reg?

I though that you thought I could not call with any hand that played that way and therefor I put you on more air hands then value hands.

Look at his hand and equities, what do you expect him to have here, uno cards? - TianYuan

my 4bet sizing is sized so that i can 3barrel for stacks and allow you to call with a lot of hands. If we were playing 100bb i would be minraising with my 4bet.

Raising turn as a bluff makes no sense because i can 3barrel for stacks.

The shove isn't really light, given that no one folds in holdem, and no one folds to 4bets.

That calldown with AJ is idiotic.
He floats flop because he thinks you're gonna give up, but then 'hits' and decides he's good lol.

Pretty sure if he's floating AJ and he hits, folding is just dumb

Might not be light be you guys are kind of exagerrating; it is almost a 2 bi jam on he riv and a lot of players won't be calling that with worse. And if they do call with worse aj might be the only hand and even that should be discounted given pre/flop

The fact that is almost a 2bi jam shouldnt have any relevance

Can you explain why the reason I give is wrong.

I would personally not play the hand the way he played for value against someone without some reads.

I would bet something like 210-225

Thats why I say it's light.

I'm not doing the same call against a random reg on NL200 because well most regs don't shove so light in that spot 250bb deep in my experiance.
And my experiance is the only thing that matter in that spot

It could be normal in higher stakes with some dynamic but we had no dynamic that I knew of and that's why I thought the shove was light.
A shove on the river has much more FE imo then a normal bet.

I actully think it's a really really good line as a bluff because I'm calling twice so often and folding to a river shove with most of my medium strength hands
and he looked like a guy who would notice that.

I actully think it's a bad shove without reads, because most people don't call with worse in that spot the way he played it.

A normal bet would be much better IMO in the long run.

AA/KK/A3s/JJ that takes this line.

I'm playing all my strong range that beats him the same way and most of the time I'm folding everything that is worse then QQ here.

I play AA/KK/JJ/A3s the same way very often.

Sometimes I 3bet 66/88 in these spots and play it the same way.

To be honest I'm probably folding 99/TT here even though they are the same value hand.

And the reason is:

I have a blocker for JJ and AA and I thought he wouldn't play QQ this way for value so his range IMO when I was playing that hand which is the most important point was:
Air80%/Value20% and also because he only 4bet to 42$ OOP 250bb deep

Which I though he would never do with QQ because he's giving me the right price with most of my range I 3bet there.

you think your very solid etc... but a hand like this will take a giant crap on your table image for a while. Furthermore if you claim you have A3s in your range you prob also have A6s, maybe KJs QJs (cause you seem to be opssessed with blockers and floating cause you think your perceived range is so strong)

I don't think strogoz expects to run into AA KK here, preety sure you and most regs put in another bet pre more often then not, just because you flat once in a while does not make it very relevant

Hmm good point, I didn't consider that before.

This hand is probably the best thing that could have happened to me, I've just discovered few leaks/blindspots in my game that I didn't even realize before.

Cliffnotes from this hand:
- Don't smoke and play
- My thinking proccess isn't as solid as I thought
- I overestemate my percived range in general

P.s.I don't really smoke pot from a black guy named Jeremy.
