no reads on the guy yet

my main consideration on the flop was that he called pfr then called squeeze so unlikely to have a big pair

this meant I think that he would be more likely to hit the flop big

still i think I had to bet the flop and get ready to make a crying call?

um, i'd like to see the range you've given them in pokerstove. Vs an unknown your probably getting it in ahead pretty much always unless they call with low pp's preflop. Bet folding here would be lighting money on fire.

ok assuming he's not that good cos he's calling a raise then calling a squeeze:

Board: 8h 5s 7h
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 81.866% 80.52% 01.35% 104427 1745.50 { AcAs }
Hand 1: 18.134% 16.79% 01.35% 21772 1745.50 { JJ-22, ATs+, KJs+, QJs, ATo+, KJo+, QJo }

Not sure if im missing a ton of hands but with the range I put in, hot damn I'm crushing lol

need to stove and think about ranges more >_>

Oh ya? I've seen people calling 3b's pf with a lot of crap.

What range do you suggest?

Stroggoz   New Zealand. Jan 05 2013 22:25. Posts 5329

your meant to put the range of hands they are raising flop with into stove, not their entire preflop range lol. You need to be about 30-40% vs their range for a bet/call to be good on the flop.

I don't know to much about stove but when you put ATs doesn't that mean AdTd as well, I doubt he is stacking that off on the flop

Also add 66, 87s, T9s, JhTh imo

stove is good to see wheather to call or not, you need 31pct its a call almnst always, but you guys are being a bit optimistic, the standard is people flating draws and pps on flop, id discount those hands in
other spots, but its pointless analyzing this one this deep as you have to bet flop cause ur ahead of his continuing range by miles and v the raise you can rly muck v very specific villains as even nits play jj this way alot

93% Sure!

Stoving here is not really needed even tough it's a good excercise.

Crying call, more like a celebrate snap call.
