Starting today: VPP ladderboard at PS!

PokerStars unveils another 10th Anniversary promotion: the ring game ladderboard, which will award $1,000,000 across ten days of exciting action. Each ring game stake tab in the PokerStars game client is being given its own Leaderboard for the duration of the promotion and the rules are as simple as never: just play as many hands as you can in the qualifying period, as the players who earn the most VPPs win the biggest share of the cash!

Here’s how the 10th Anniversary Ring Game Leaderboards work:
There is a separate Leaderboard running for each of the stake levels in the game client, from November 23-December 2.
Every ring game variation counts towards this promotion. It doesn’t matter if you play Hold’em, Omaha or Stud.

Each Leaderboard period lasts for 24 hours, after which the rankings are re-set. The players who earn the most VPPs in each stake level will win a share of $50,000 every day as listed below. Plus, any player who finishes in the top 1,000 in any of the Leaderboards will also be awarded a ticket to an exclusive freeroll with a prize pool of $500,000!

The freeroll will take place at 12:30 ET on December 11. Entry tickets will be awarded by December 8. Only one ticket will be awarded per player, regardless of the number of top 1,000 finishes achieved. Entry tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred or sold. Unused tickets will expire after the $500,000 freeroll begins.

being a nlhe player myself- yes, but i think its alot harder (can lead to big drop in winrate) to 24 table plo than nlhe. i think (i may be wrong) that most plo multitablers play around 12-16 tables, which is comparable to 24 tabling nlhe vpp wise.

On tlpoker.pl we have a guy that already played over 300k hands this month ( nl50-nl200 ) and raked like 12k euro, so I guess some nl player would have a shot at this ;p

this is litterally impossible to win for NLH. a plo mass tabler will win it 100%.all it takes is joe ingram deciding he wants to play every single table as high as he can up to 1kPLO and then playing for 24hours and gg 50k. its like that silly ez:

yes, micro to high, but it still doesnt matter if its plo or nlhe, which means PLO > all

lol there's a leaderboard obviously. Not all the money goes to #1 on the list. High stakes can win upto $3k a day, mid up to $1,5k a day.

this promo will (presumably) only award winning players which is very bad.
