Implied Odds Implied odds are Pot odds that are not yet valid, but may be included in your calculations because of the additional money you think you can win if you hit your hand. For example, you could call the turn with a straight draw even tho you are not getting the correct pot odds, because you think that if you do hit that straight you will be able to extract a lot of extra money on the river, since your opponent won′t probably be putting you on that straight.
