there are forums out there without any moderation at all and no one is stopping anyone from participating in those. while lp can be mistaken for one of these it still does have a line. does posting an incredibly gross picture of anal herpes cross that line? yes. should that be a resounding shock to anyone at all? i wouldnt think so.

its not a secret that long time posters of the community are given leniency for some posts. tutz is not one of those. he trolls almost every thread he posts in (has like a 90% troll to real post ratio) and has neither done nor contributed anything of substance since he joined lp (save being made fun of by most people and having a weirdly funny laugh) so he doesnt deserve said leniency.

people are complaining about tough moderation (which in actuality is maybe 3 bans in a few months?) and about lp dying. the truth, i think at least, is the increasing general sentiment that trolling all the time is good for lp. the current state makes it really hard for new posters to come into the community. all that said, if you think truly tutz is a good poster and an integral part of the community we can look over it all.

i thought tutz shouldnt have been banned at first then i read over his last 100 posts and im firmly behind it. whenever you look over 100 posts from someone you get a really good idea of how helpful they are to the community.

i almost never warn or ban anyone but the line has been pushed so far back as it is, i dont think you guys understand how often it gets crossed.

i dont have the power to unban tutz, but i think he should probably be allowed back at some point because he brings a different side that this community doesnt have and occasionally posts things of value. but unfortunately im in the minority with that and i doubt he would ever be let back. but if he doesnt look at his last 100 posts and see someone who deserved to be banned then he should never be allowed back

Here's a suggestion which I find most helpful to everyone - "Retard Bin" ----> Joe Rogan Board has one, it has all the most retarded, troll infested posts and members safely in one Category. Those who wish to see stuff like that should check that category with no clear subcategories. Obviously people who just pick fights with anyone or just post random uninteresting bullshit all the time gets a perma ban, but those who are just silly, sometimes funny or just slightly obnoxious can get their LP fix and site gets some kind of activity. It's a reputation based system where you can vote up or down until a guy gets a "pink" and gets sent to that board. Hope this helps because simply banning silly people hurts the site somewhat.

Funny thing is I talked with Tom on MSN and told him he will get a warning and asked him to stop posting for Tutz, he said it's no problem - Tutz was posting from multiaccounts previously anyway, so putting Tom's account at risk here is done with premeditation, as he did that to avoid getting banned again.

'Die Howard' stopped being funny when it was being posted randomly in every thread, irrelevant to FTP case or not, every day, all day long.

I banned you for 1 day to calm down since, even I don't know why, you are obviously posting in heat of emotions. If you don't like moderation you can bring it up to Nazgul and Meat, as they own the site.

Bilat had 2 previous accounts that are perm-banned and had over 15 bans in history - as PoorUser mentioned it was overlooked by us in the beginning as he completely changed his behavior and started posting valuable contest, other way his multi-account would have been closed before use.

You banned someone that posted nude pics of their model GF, that seems like a pretty big fail.

It's obvious LP has been dying over the years. I'm sure it had more to do with Joy/Nazgul putting higher priority in teamliquid then black friday killing the traffic. Maybe LP should implement 2p2's infraction system instead of random bans. I do think it's retarded how easy mods ban posters.

I've been active on this site for over 6 years. Signed up for Full Tilt RB using liquidpoker as well($$$ your fkn welcome LP). I joined this site mostly because I was acquainted with Nazgul/joy from a SC1 clan. I've never acted out of line to receive any warning nor ban in my last 6 years of stay. I've contributed in many many strategy threads often as I can. I do not get any benefits from discussing strategies besides self pleasure.

I'm also an active poster on 2p2. I don't contribute anything for the community. Only threads I take part is the ones that benefits me(transfer thread, sportsbets and communicating with regs in reg thread). I've learned most of my poker from lurking 2p2 strat threads. I yell "die howard" on almost all my posts. Mods on 2p2 simply edit my posts or give me infraction if they think I've went too far. My infraction is only at 30% and haven't received any bans in my life.

Few weeks ago, I got banned for saying "die howard" from LP. Second ban being for 7 days. I understand wishing death upon someone is wrong but receiving 7 day ban felt too much. It made me feel that I may be contributing too much in a wrong community. Maybe this is what others felt when they left this site.

^ "Die Howard" would probably be the only thing I'd post if I had half the money you had on there. Die Howard was still funny to me so I was quite sad when that thing went away.

LP has been around 6.5 years. in those 6.5 years there have been 1080 bans or basically one every 2nd day which isnt that much when you consider how much traffic this site gets.
