If you can't survive on your own beyond a one week's time frame, then it isn't an absurd hypothesis that your backer is afk in teh brainz. I think what you probably meant to say is you just handle your money poorly and are in the need of a 'manager.'

Hevad, you're mostly right, thats what Jlost has been telling me for years actually.

I can easily survive a week on my own, not a problem, def wasn't the right week to start the second scoop ended and I was low on confidence after so many shattered stacks etc.

I've went a year on my own easily in the past, just need to get a decent starting bankroll. I started with like $1125 or something, whilst on sick tilt. Honestly was amazing that it lasted that long, had a couple hero performances that kept me alive. In hindsight, if I were to do that again, I'd just run 3.50 180 mans all day for a week or two and get to 5k+ safely, then start mtting 1rs-55freezeouts til 15k and then move up to ~162s, 1r-33rs, then to 25k add a few 215s a week w/ the 320.

Everything happens for a reason though, and not too worried, now I can play the games I want to play in daily, and have no stress while playing, which was most likely the cause for the weeklong downswing. I constantly tell ppl downswings don't exist, just play longer etc, and really, I wasn't playing close to my A game the whole time I was doing it on my own dime.

Well, I did feel some momentary swings during my sessions much more this week than in the past, thats for sure, but idk, if my play was as fearless as it was staked, probably would have won a helluva lot more too. All goes to the starting br and game selection. Must be higher and better. :-) reminds me....should roll one up..

my backer and i have been talking for about 7 days now, we had a little falling out over a few things a couple weeks back, we've worked through them, and are back on good terms with one another. This is a good thing for me imo; I didn't accept this broke, I accepted the stake because I loved the terms and was tired of playing under insane stress the last few days, and was getting close to being on the verge of broke -_- scared $ dont make no money dont make no money dont make no money~!

pplus, idk how much i made this month, i know on my own i cashed out rent money for next month, and paid off some debts, and still had a few bucks leftover, went on my own on the 11th, br peaked at 6k on like the 15th, i made some br management errors on sick scoop tilt, def stupid, hindsight and well during it, the foresight i recognized it, and still played a bunch of mtts i shouldn't have. feel like I just got off a rollercoaster from 1935 with wooden tracks and got onto a nice new rollercoaster w/ padded seats and metal rails.

seobomb - no, i haven't ever considered it for more than a day or two, I love the game with an insane amount of passion that most people don't have...Mostly comes from being an MTTer which I just flat out Love. Theres nothing else I can ever imagine doing, and I won't stop til I hit the top.

Guess I actually played 14 days on my own (up til yesterday) - started on the 11th;

not so bad, and realized a lot of important things about myself and my game during that time; take the positives and learn from the negatives imo

honestly doesn't feel like a fail or anything, just a learning experience, things feel great for me, and i'd never be able to suppliment that br for that game selection without months of grinding ahead of time

also - ya i never really grinded 180s in my life for a long period of time, I tend to do really well in them, but always find myself MTTing, def a higher variance game, yet its where I'm most comfortable, and kinda the reason I play is cuz I love mtt's

i was 40k in debt when black friday happened.

i went to canada, made 60k(/2 *backed*)
paid off 20k+ in debt and kept a couple g's.

moved here and continuing to play and pay off debt, and live, its all i do is play to payoff my mistakes from 2008-2009, yet I get continuously flamed for it. fucking idiots have no idea what my life is like. i rarely ever keep a fcking penny of what I win for the last 5 months grinding, 3 months @ canada, 2 months so far here. Its fucking frustrating to not be able to do the stuff I want to, especially when I'm usually doing really well.

Also, having a backer move you to Costa Rica - you have to pay double on everything, so the 5k move cost me 10k. and everythings doubled w/ backers etc, so it has slowed down the payment process of any debts that remain a lot.

Ask jlost88 how i live and what im like, then you will understand that i dont give a shit about the money, just fixing my name and winning some monster mtts. obviously need money for rent food n goin out, but currency is evil in general, and i just play to win.
