I got this weird impulse, I'll try it once, so no need to panic or go crazy if it's not wanted or not looked kindly upon in here.
The idea is that I just do my normal day, but instead of just doing it. I write what I do, as I do it, and I add links to whatever I read, right after I've read it. Kind of like a journal I keep updating throughout the day.
Yeah, not sure what will happen, but I've just gotten up now, and atm (means at the moment, not ass to mouth) I'm scribbling on my whiteboard.
Starting the day off with 5 min of stretching, some water, some Multi-vitamins, a lot of B-x shit in it, some Oil (Udo's choice, I sometimes mumble to myself in a low voice, there's no choice quite like Udo's choice), some gingo-biloba pills, some celery, some C-vitamins, then some more water.
Then Breakfast, some "knekkebrød" with rye, the good shit with double layer of chicken on it, with cold water for drinks.
So after looking at my scribblings, I just sit down at my computer and I start searching for stuff.
Here's first I found:
It's a handsome guy who's all proper n shit who asked a pro Dr, health guy, and a dentist for the most common causes of preventable suffering and how to solve em. http://lifehacker.com/5927931/the-mos...-suffering-and-their-simple-solutions
I go make me some coffee, I don't like it too strong, I have a dash of “fløte” in it, just to feel special.
Read some stuff about sitting too much is very bad for you, I kinda skip over all the food bits and stuff like that since I'm so awesome in that area. I'm high master or close, high up there at least. But sitting is something I've done for o so much lol.
I sometimes get really excited early on, and then a few days after I'm like, waaat, I thought this was cool lol, I'm such a newb. So I'm gonna try it, now. I have to move my table first, find some cool music and try sum.
- Ok tried, used 12 minutes, since I had to stop the video and think here n there, but felt really cool lol
Notice I'm getting a little low on supplies, and I really want to go to the big supermarked, but that's a little bit far, well not far, I'm just lazy. But I've developed this interesting technique (not to be used with reckless abandon mind you very much). <--- I'm just making up cool slogans.
I noticed that when I nag at my brother to do me favors (stuff like, driving me to the super marked), the success rate isn't all that high.
And then afterward I ask someone else, for instance, my dad. Then the same thing might happen, although it's a little higher, I've got a lot of power and leeway here, but with great power also comes great responsibility. (I can just say I'm really sick, fake it, and It's 100%). But then I'll feel like an asshole, so I never, rarely, barely ever do that (ok has happened a few times, but then I feel really bad lol).
So I need to convince him in other ways.... But then again, the success rate drops by quite a bit =[
This isn't much of a problem anymore, due to my brilliant mind. I've only tested it for a month or two, and I don't think it's failed me yet. There's only one requirement for it to work. They both have to be home at the same time (my brother and my father), so what I do is, I tell my brother I really need to buy a lot of stuff, and I try lure him however I see fit. And I ask him if he could kindly ask my dad if he can do me the favor.
(And here's the trick), I've already got another copy paste ready, and I write something similar, but this time to my dad. So now I just have to time it, so I kinda have both's attention at the same time on Facebook, and voila. For some reason, when they both "do me the favor" of asking the other if he can drive me, they start some weird ego war, and tries to "win" or something like that (not 100% sure what happens, but it works).
Only bought amazing healthy stuff, feel free to pm me if you want more details lol. (I use a long time in there, I think, I lift things, shake them about a little, look at them in different angles, ask questions, read ingredients, kinda make it an event lol).
Ok, back to more fun, reading, note taking n shit xD
While eating I like to put on something light and something I don't have to pay too much attention too, so I put on some "approach women" thingy, from this channel. I ate complex pasta, chickecn, bacon, salad, and drank some water
I've always had huge problems watching that kind of stuff, I cringe, my body twists and turn, I make these weird facial expression, get so embarrassed and awkward when I watch people go up to random girls and start talking lol. So I'm trying to get that feeling away lol
A much better article here, Read it a few times, took some notes, u know, just bein a baller. It's about Beliefs that might be holding you back, going through some common ones and some words about shit that might help you get through em.
(Took some time, thought some, went around hanging up sticky notes all over, tried looking at myself in the mirror and talk, but got so shy, started laughing and ran off lol, "tomorrow damnit".
In between reading, writing, doing stuff, I troll on facebook, just skim through, slap some troll's here and there for good meassure. Nothing too serious, or over the top.
Had around 30 minutes where I've been chatting to my brother and sister, + 2 mates of mine. The topics were about training, what happens if the sun lashes some wind blabla (that's from a guy who's not that bright, but watches a lot of TV), and a little bit to the guy who's just like Loco, but he ignores me a lot, so wasn't much going on there.
Oh, I talked another 20 minutes, this time bout Philosophy. I'm very careful on who I talk Philosophy with, I don't want to listen to anyone, I just want to ramble about things I read and learned lol. Talked some about the first Philosophers, 620bc, what theories they came up with. Like one with a weird long name that starts with A, then some x and Anaximanderlalala or something, and his "student" allegedly, actually, I think it was his student that felt that "air" was crucial, since when air gets heavy it turn to fog, water n such, when it gets dry you get flames. And when people die they stop breathing, and the Gods were made out of air, stuff along those lines, fascinating stuff lol. Anyway, I digress...
Next I read this, I felt it was really scary at first, and that I was in a lot of trouble, since I've been sitting for most of my life. Article on how bad sitting was, and could be.
(Wrote notes about that as well, but this isn't about me posting my notes lol). http://lifehacker.com/5879536/how-sit...ur-body-and-how-you-can-counteract-it
Felt it could have been shorter, why not just "Stand up every hour, and train every day lol".
I do agree though, if you're fat, like 80kg and above, it's probably a lot more severe and important.
Small break where I listen to some music, jump around a little in the living room. I'm too shy to dance in public, but alone I do these weird tap with my feet kinda thingys, and I wiggle some, and I bounce, that makes me smile quite a bit. Also like freezing, holding a pose for x amount of seconds, then continue.
Decided to relax a little in my couch, listen to some History of Philosophy. Found this site, not sure if it's awesome yet, I've gotten to Heraclitus, epsiode 5, I think there's 90 + episodes
I've found 2-3 other pages who are better, more in depth, but I felt It'd be cool to just go through the history first, then delve deeper into the ones I found the most interesting. It's taken from this booklist.

Got some more food, some Turkey on rye bread, two slices, with some green shit on top.
Relaxed with watching some Tedtalks, then some Kripparian clips. (Not really played Diablo3 since May, but I kinda kept watching Kripparian, i think he's the most famous D3 guy). He's just so friendly and relaxing.
Have had Breaking Bad ep2 on for DL, gonna indulge in a little lol and crap for a bit.
(Oj, that episode had me enthralled, it ended in a blink of an eye, that was a pleasant surprise).
Let's see, what's next on my endless imaginary to do list!! (Not totally imaginary, I do write stuff at the start of each day, things I feel like "exploring", learning or what not, but I guess I maybe already said that up there lol).
Sleep, yes, lol, I've struggled with proper sleep, and a schedule for most of my life. But from time to time, I like to re-read, and try a few new things, and see if I can make something out of it, yeap.
Oj, this one took me quite a long time, since there were so many links to added stuff, like when talking about foods that help induce sleep, I had to google it, go through those and add those in. There were some more links, I like to click them and at least look at them, and if my spider senses tell me I have to read them, I swear, shake my head a little annoyed, and I have at it, like a bwauss.
Next one is more about relaxing, I see the first few things are about Yoga and Meditation. I've ventured into those areas in the past, but I forget doing it, get bored, or just stop thinking about it. But I did take classes for Kundalin Yoga, and I am pretty good at breathing meditatively. So doesn't hurt to take a look at some more.
That one kinda just leads to a lot of other ones. Ai ai ai, I need a quick break before I dive into it.
Meditation for idiots, or something along those lines....
On second thought, clock is now 05:00 in the morning, I've been up since 17:00, I feel I got some energy, not sure from where, so even though it's raining, I'm a jump on my bike, head to the gym, it opens at 05:00. Fuck, hurry, hurry before I change my mind lol. (Can already feel my mind is plotting some amazing excuses for me not to go).
Oh, I'll pm my sister on Facebook and check if she wants to come too lol, oh, and brush my teeth in case there'z sum cute girlz there. Oh, and get my water bottle n my card, ok, all set, yay.
Oj, almost forgot to blow out the candles, I light that shit when I'm relaxing or reading, not sure but I feel it helps in a way.
Rode my bike cycle to the gym, 10 min, warmup, 5 minutes, jogged for 20 minutes, light jogging, but got quite a sweat, for being me, I usually don't sweat much. 15 minutes with stretches and maybe 150 crunches in between the stretching. A total of 40 minutes at the gym, + 10min each way. I drank 0,7 liter there. Perfect xD
When home, I did that fun thingy you can do after you have worked out, like really hot shower, then cold, then lol about with it, just for fun, it's amazing. (Can't really do that when you wake up n stuff, or if you're just bored, or haven't been moving a lot, it just hurts lol, but it's just fun when ur all fired up).
For food I made spaghetti and I fried some tuna, nomnomnom, and then I added sum butter and salt, slapped some green shit on that bad boy and I was done... Yeaah
Important to note, while in between all this, I usually always troll (might have mentioned it briefly up there, but I suddenly felt an urge to elaborate), but I don't think about that consciously. Unless it's an elaborate (crap, now I used elaborate twice in the same sentence, shit, 3 times, I suck lol) one, and then it's never like I'm stuck, or not sure what to write or say, it's that I'm getting tingles, trying to decide what works best, and I edit, change things up, re-read it. But for most trolls, a sentence or under, it's automatic, yay.
Also when/if people message me when I'm doing something else, it's automatic trolling, 30% of the time I don't even notice I've trolled, and it's quite often people can comment or talk about some troll I've done and I'm not even realizing they're talking about that particular troll, or referring to me.
I think I've trolled since I was a little child, and it kinda always stuck with me. The self humoring thing, not sure where it came from. But for some reason I've always loved entertaining myself, I notice it often gets even more fun if I let 1 or 2 people in on it. Now a days I vary a lot, I can make it 100% obvious to everyone reading, or mix it up with having no one realize I'm trolling. (Not really sure if it's a troll then? I also never put the name Troll on it, I've always done it, and lately casuals, mainstream people, and people growing up have started doing it, but they do it just to “troll” it feels like. For me It's more like lifestyle.
The Trolls can be anything from bothering "friends" on facebook, to community groups on facebook, to more elaborate pranks on people on youtube or in games (when I'm gaming). Or when I'm social, they tend to get bigger and bigger (that's when it gets scary), I get so many ideas and impulses, so I'm often worried I might go over someone's invisible top. (I like to think that I try to get as close to someone's limit as you possible can, but not over it, and the few times It's appropriate to go over it, quickly jump underneath and calm it before whoever is getting troll realized I went over, I don't want people really upset. Anoyed, pissed, moody, entertained, confused, anything around there is pretty awesome.
I'm scrolling through my facebook, today I've not been that active, but I've written 34 troll comments.
It used to be a little more elaborate, since there's this awesome page called "Kjøp & Salg Mo i Rana". And virtually every house hold in our city is part of that group. We've just got 25.000 people in "my" city. And that page is just used for putting up shit, pictures of stuff you want to sell, then people write in the comments what they bid, talk, discuss, haggle.
A few days ago something awful happened though.
I've always been so careful and meticulous, but I got really unlucky, so I got banned.
Wasn't even that big of a troll either, maybe like a 5,0 on a scale of 10,0 on a casual-troll-o-meter. This elderly lady was trying to get hold of this small, antique sofa thingy (ugly as shit), and there were quite few comments in it. It seemed as if she was complaining, almost giving up, since no one seem to have one of those.
So I thought It'd be funny to go "Ohhh, shit, so unlucky, my dad had one JUST like the one in your picture, but our cat took a big dump in it, everything got smeared in poo. I think he threw it in the back of the garage after that".
And I thought that was it, and I was happily on my way further down the picturez. Looking for more good spots.
But then she sent me a PM, acting all crazy like "omg omg (ok she didn't really use omg), but she seemed pretty excited, saying that didn't matter, she could re-dress it or something stupid, pleading if she could buy it.
I got a little "ai ai ai", so to stall for time, I said "Aye, I can't promise anything, but I'll call my dad, he's at work now, but I'll let you know later in the day!".
But then it turned out she kinda knew who my dad was, and she called him instead....
Crap =[
(I think that's why I'm banned, I'm not 100% sure, but she went in a hissy fit n took away one of my favorite pass-time activity).
Some people just want to see the world burn.
Another good one is when someone takes a bad picture of something, let's say a couch, to make it simple. I like to go "hmm, it lookz pretty good, I'm a little interested, hmm... Could you possible maybe take another picture from the other side? (It's a little fuzzy)"
And if it's a woman, or a girl, they always comply LOL, and they upload more pictures, yay.
Then the game IS ON!! (Pretty obvious what's going on now), the goal of the game is to see how many times you can get the girl to upload another picture.
My record is around 7 or 8 times.
I also once got the girl to lay in the couch, but when I found out her boyfriend took the picture, I acted all moody in the comment and snuffed, said I wasn't interested (tried to make it obvious I was moody she had a bf).
Hmm... there is one problem with having this "affliction" (I think I can call it that, since I can't really control it lol, at least not at times, or I can moderate it at least xD). If I use my willpower to avoid 5-10 good spots, it just keeps getting increasingly harder, and eventually I'll pop. (Kinda like when I did that Byrnesam no fap challenge, suddenly I was watching with 30 tabs up, the most bizarre fetishes I've never been to, with a fap marathon, fapping for 3 hours straight, then at it again 1 hour later, by the evening I was genuinely concerned I might have broken it).
Where was I... Yeah, there... Ok.
I used to have over 300 friends on Facebook, now I'm down at 103. The first people to go were the ones who got easily offended, then quite a few fat people. Then a few old people. I had added some people I knew were religious, they all gone too lol. (Yay, thanks Hitchens).
But I think that's a good thing, in a way.
I do regret trolling too hard on a lot of the girls who were good looking, but you can't go around treating people differently lol, and besides, those are the one's who's most fun to troll xD
Am a little nervous I might lose one of the hottest I've got left on facebook, I did a troll on her last night, she uploaded a picture from her phone, and it was so dark you couldn't see her face, was too dark and blurry.
Not 100% sure what I wrote, but something along the lines of "ahh, that's maybe the best picture I've seen of you so far". (Stupidly mild one though, like I'm a little scared any shy to troll that one lol. I'm such a whimp at times lol).
Another deep form of trolling, I'm not sure if anyone but me will find this one funny. But you know those people who update their facebook 30 times a day, when they're moody, when they're tired, when they had a good cup of coffe, when they had a friend over, that they made some bread, the list goes on.
I LOVE answering those, as politely, and honestly as I can. Inquire further, or a smile, the most mundane, boring shit I can think of I try my hardest to write. Not 100% sure why, but it fills me with joy.
So, let's take "xxxxx" a xx girl, she does that shit nonstop. So when she writes like ""#¤"#¤ so mad, fuck men"
I instantly go "ahh, what's up? I hope no one is miss-treated you or anything".
Then she's free to write why she's angry... Not even exaggerating when I say, that sometimes those super tiny, mundane, invisible to 90% trolls has me in fits, sometimes I can even have tears coming down my chin. Can't quite the sensation.
"Ahh there, now all the snow's been plowed, phew, that was a lot of work, now I deserve some hot coco"
"Oj, you plowed the whole thing yourself, and you're a girl. I must say, I'm pretty impressed".
That last sentence there, is also a 100% troll lol. (Me trying to be as boring as I can possible muster).
A few things annoy me though, one of them is my sister, somehow she's become immune to my trolls. But that doesn't stop me from trying. I've probably tried 5-7times today, she hasn't bitten once.
Let me go have a look...
Ok, here's one.
She wrote her husband was making her kebab.
I reply with "Hmm, *Name of husband here* once told me I was a kebab. What you think he ment by that?".
And then just nothing!!
Grrrr
Ok, so this is just small trivial stuff. I'll show you guys a bigger one. It happened yesterday, so it's kinda doesn't fit 100% of "stuff I've done in a day". BUT I wrote one of the long replies in the troll today, so it kinda counts anyway.
Scenario:
A mate of mine who's pretty intelligent, (in a way he never miss- spells, he never trolls, he rarely if ever swears, always factual, very pessimistic, former nihilist, he's close to an exact replica of Loco, he only difference is that he keeps me around on skype lol, and that he sometimes talks back to me).
I've sat trying to get his attention for most of the day, but he ignores me a lot. So after trying various techniques I finally manage to annoy him enough to get an answer.
I keep pestering, trying to find out what he's doing, but he refuses. And I felt right away it was something he didn't want me to know, embarrassed, something along those lines. I think his correct words were "You're not mentally mature enough to appreciate blablabla".
This makes me open my mouth in amazement, I'm so intrigued right now, so interested I'm almost shaking lol.
I do my best at convincing him to tell me, I just lay at him. When this happen I start to write fast, really fast, I think I break over 1000 touch per minute or somewhere around there. I enter a flow state or something similar.
So after spamming he agrees to let me in on it, after I've "kinda in a non formal way agreed I'd not make fun of him, no jokes, no troll, no laughing etc". It's kinda in the air. (He's still probably moody about the time I got him to tell me how he masturbated, and he did this trick with his finger to stimulate his anus. It so caught me off guard, he was so 100% not the person to talk, admit, or even do that kinda stuff. Makes me smile each time I see his name, talk to him, or each time he says something profound or smart lol.
Anyway, he tells me there's this sub forum on Reddit for something called ASMR. (Let me just quote what that means, since I didn't fully get it myself).
"Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) is a physical sensation characterized by a pleasurable tingling that typically begins in the head and scalp, and often moves down the spine and through the limbs."
And he had been enthralled, watching this girl preform simple tasks, or whispering, or clicking on wooden boxes, shit like that for over 3 hours straight.
He sent me this link, Where she's "preforming" asmr (I'm thick lol, I didn't realize she knew what she was doing, I thought she wasn't in on it, and just had vods up, and just got happy people was watching her shit lol).
Just click the link, watch it for 25 sec, then pause, then continue reading, watch more of it later if you want, not right now lol
Not 100% why, but the whole thing made me happy, I couldn't watch more than 1-2 minutes of it, even though she was hot lol. But I knew I had to pm her, and I got a pm back pretty quickly.
After a few pm's I got down to businiss.
And instead of talking about it as I have previously, I'll just go and copy paste. But before I can do that I need to explain a few things. (There's literally hundreds of things, but I'll go through some of the big ones).
I changed Celz's name to KimPim. Why Kim, is kinda "deep", but Kim thinks Celz is moody, and Celz don't like that, I always make nicknames for people, Kim is KimPim. A close irl friend of mine, he's 2 meters tall, maybe the kindest guy on the planet, or at least high up there. He's always kind, his best attributes is being tall and listening. Yes, he actually listens deeply, it's weird. He never gets into trouble. And when he walks around his coordination is a bit off lol. And he's one of my favorite people to have around lol.
(Very often when I need a name, I use his, there's also some history between him and Celz, that makes it even more fun that it says KimPim instead of his name, but no time to go into that now lol).
So whenever you see "KimPim" talk, it's actually Celz, and I've "edited" it slightly, given him some poor structured sentences + I give him some spelling errors rofl. And often when he's avoiding something, or being boring, I just "write what I feel he's actually saying" lol, so I'm making him look 70% more stupid, and by doing that I come out a lot better lol . But we're still kinda saying close to, hmm, let's see... 80% of what's being said in the convo, I've just edited and changed up a few things I felt were more accurate here and there.
The conversation starts from when he had just linked me the Youtube of the Asmr girl.
(This is my 3rd PM to her on Youtube)
Hey Fishka, or uhm, Fishcake (rolls better of the tongue). So from now on, that's what I'll call you.
I have something you might find interesting, and how I ended up "here":
A friend of mine who's far more intelligent than you and me combined often engage in these talks on skype. Then I made a weird discovery about him that I didn't know. He was into something called AIHO (Attention induced head orgasm), AIE (Attention induced euphoria), or simply "head orgasms"/"head tingles".
Obviously I thought he was fucking with me, and I inquired further, to find out what it was about. And he showed me to a whole reddit sub-group dedicated to it.
Here are the triggers (they'll be sure to make you lol if you didn't already know):
- Slow speech patterns, accents, soft-speaking voices and whispers.
- Lip sounds/smacking/eating
- Clicking sounds, brushing sounds, white noise, etc.
- Painting/drawing
- Instructional videos
- Watching other people performing simple tasks
Hmm, after having read this, I kinda feel... Wait a minute... SHE ALREADY KNOWS ABOUT THIS LOL...
Freak!!
But I already felt that, so it doesn't matter, no reason to erase such a warm and witty pm.
So instead I'll add a short transcript from the Skype conversation of when I found out lol:
[7/19/2012 8:19:02 PM] mariusaglen: Ohh, I still don't get it.
[7/19/2012 8:19:31 PM] mariusaglen: I clicked the link, it looks legit lol
[7/19/2012 8:19:33 PM] mariusaglen: Still feel it's really
[7/19/2012 8:20:19 PM] mariusaglen: creepy
[7/19/2012 8:21:27 PM] mariusaglen: Weirdo
[7/19/2012 8:21:30 PM] mariusaglen: LoL, it's like someone is trying to be as boring as humanly possible lol
[7/19/2012 8:21:32 PM] mariusaglen: Can't stop laughing, SPEAK, DON'T GO INTO HIDING. I'm not judging, just smiling n stuff
[7/19/2012 8:21:35 PM] mariusaglen: LOL
[7/19/2012 8:22:29 PM] KimPim: What, I don't want to respond to anything primitive. It's nothing wrong with trying to get the most out of an orgasm, it takes it to a whole other level by doing it this way.
[7/19/2012 8:24:07 PM] mariusaglen: I'm so confused, so you're fapping while you're doing the head orgasm thingy??
[7/19/2012 8:24:09 PM] mariusaglen: From that girl not doing much vod?
[7/19/2012 8:24:46 PM] KimPim: lol, you make me sound like an idiot
[7/19/2012 8:25:11 PM] KimPim: I could easily sit and watch her on repeat for hours
[7/19/2012 8:25:23 PM] mariusaglen: Meh, I tried, I had to fast forward
[7/19/2012 8:25:25 PM] mariusaglen: Started tapping my fingers a few seconds into it lol
[7/19/2012 8:25:29 PM] mariusaglen: Then I felt a sudden urge to write something
[7/19/2012 8:25:33 PM] mariusaglen: Wish I were as relaxed
[7/19/2012 8:25:35 PM] mariusaglen: and boring as you
[7/19/2012 8:25:39 PM] mariusaglen: and didn't need stimuli aaaallll the time
[7/19/2012 8:25:40 PM] mariusaglen: Awwhhhh
[7/19/2012 8:25:42 PM] mariusaglen: You're so lucky <3
[7/19/2012 8:25:45 PM] KimPim: But that's the point, I'm getting stimuli constantly, and a steady flow of dopamin. I'm erect the whole time as well.
[7/19/2012 8:25:48 PM] KimPim: Hah, you wouldn't belive that now would you.
[7/19/2012 8:25:58 PM] KimPim: You see, how much greener everything gets on the other side?
[7/19/2012 8:26:00 PM] KimPim: Without it being so

[7/19/2012 8:26:42 PM] mariusaglen: And why are we talking in English all the time?
[7/19/2012 8:26:47 PM] KimPim: Because you're too much of a retard whenever we change langauge. I prefer this one when speaking to you.
[7/19/2012 8:26:52 PM] mariusaglen: Oh ok
[7/19/2012 8:26:56 PM] mariusaglen: But couldn't you instead show some intereste in the book I've been trying to shove down your throat

[7/19/2012 8:27:01 PM] mariusaglen: Easily best book I've ever read. Even though it took me a month, had to look up a new word on almost every page lol

[7/19/2012 8:28:25 PM] KimPim: Insanely easy to read people over the internet when they write, after a few minuts I can tell with 85% certainty

After sending that I got a reply, where she was smiling, going on about "awhh you just wanted me to add you on Facebook".
I got a little flustered, didn't quite get it until a few seconds had passed lol. But that blindsided me, although it shouldn't have lol.
After that I got another PM, she was smiling again, saying she liked all the pictures!
After a few seconds I realized she had been on my facebook, looking through my pictures lol. So I sent back another PM
Hey wait a minute... What pictures!!
Now I'm almost a little flustered lol.
*Shakes head* (That's what I do when I shake things off)
Anyway, I have this AWESOME proposal for a video you should/could do. But you got to imagine it with me, shake your head a little, dim the lights maybe, or light a candle or two for max concentration.
Ok, what ya think of this....
It starts like most of your normal crap, you have everything in a low voice, you can do that clickety click clack thingy you do first, then show whatever you were clacking.
(So far, everything is exactly the same as your normal routine, bear with me, it'll get amazing in a minute. I'm just letting you know in these parentheses, since I've read somewhere that blondes have tendency for really short attention spans).
Anyway, where was I.
Yeah, you were doing your thing. Then you do another one (whatever you feel like, squirt tooth paste out of a tube or some shit like that).
Ok, and here comes the good part, this is were you become awesome. You move your head to the side a bit (so you can catch your audience by surprise), and quickly (but still with a little grace) you bring forth a trumpet!!!!
(Omg!!) and the best part is, you've already secretly inhaled a lot of air, and as quickly as you can, you put ur lips on that bad boy and blow to your hearts content. (Try and get your cheeks all blown up and puffy, it'll be cute, trust me, they'll love it lol).
Ok, that's all I got, what ya think??
Ps, if maybe you could fix it somehow that the Volume of the Trumpet is at least x4 as loud as the first stuff, that would be close to perfect I think. Just guessing though, so don't go hating on me if it gets too loud.
(oh, almost forgot, I quickly sent her another pm, with just a picture of a trumpet)
HEhe, here's her reply
To be honest- i used to have a fear from this kind of trolling when i just started watching asmr videos- to fully let go and relax because i kept imagining that suddenly there will be a scream or a.. Trumpet, in your case.. I don't know why i even answer- you are rude and you said my videos are crap, on my birthday.
Sendt til: ImDrizzt
The most important thingy in this pm is the end, look, it's amazing, she told me she had her birthday, yay.
But now I feel I've been a little "mean" but not too mean, but I should maybe throw her a compliment or two, that feels about right =]
Hmm, you might have a valid point there, Fishcake.....
What about bringing the Trumpet to your mouth (all sexy like), pretending you're about to blow it, but instead you vuscjhh (yes, that's a word) out the air all asmr'like right next to it (maybe show the guys a big smile, kinda letting them know, "I wouldn't do that to you guyz". Hearts would melt, I'm sure!
Pffth!!! Me rude?? Young lady.....I'll let you know, I've been quite informative, helpful and honest. Even came with some well thought out, helpful ideas for your channel. It's not what the other person says that offends a person, it's how he or she chooses to respond to what's said. (Hehe, I just made that up).
Ps, pretty impressed by your English, usually people from Finland ain't all that great at it (but who am I to judge, I prefer perceiving), at least when it's written. (This here is a compliment).
Pps, I do think you're the heroine the Reddit community deserves,
but not the one it needs right now.
So you'll get trolled....
... because you can take it.
Because you're not our hero.
You're a Silent Guardian (silent talker)...
...a Watchful Protector (you check your comments an awful lot).
A Dark Knight....!
(Well this last one didn't really fit, you bein all white n stuff).
Ppps, (not sure if you're allowed to use 3 p's, but I'm feeling a little crazy today).
Whatever age you are, divide it by 2, and you have the age you'd have if you were to live on Mars.
Oh, and if you're still craving for more, you can multiply your "real" age by 7, and we'll know how old you are in dog years =] <--- friendly smiley
Have a good one, best regards,
Marius Parius

No idea if the last pm was funny, but I was in fits again, I think it might have something to do with my playlist. The dark knight end theme song was on, and I kinda just winged it at the end there lol.

I've not replied after this, look, all the smileys, she's so happy now. I feel I gave her a lot of value, and I like to just leave when I'm at the top xD
Ok, hopefully that didn't get too longwinded, I tried shortening it down, but that's a little more elaborate troll, what I mean by that, is that it takes more time, like an hour all in all, with thinking and writing (but it's not work, I'm having a blast, entertaining myself xD).
It's just "harmless" fun online, irl it can get worse, but it's very safe and stabil atm, since I spend most of my time alone, and have for quite some time. But it can quickly turn "ugly" when I'm sociable lol.
For some reason, when someone calls me, if I'm not focusing, whatever the person is saying, I reply with the oposite. Someone ask me something, I answer something else, I know the answer, I say I don't, I don't know the answer, I pretend I do and make up something.
Can do a quick example. (When I write things in parenthese, I'm just explaining, not things being said in the conversation)
My dad calls me
Dad: Hey, what you doing?
Me: Smoking pot (I've never smoked pot, maybe 6-7 times 10 years ago lol)
Dad: What.. I thought you said you cut that shit out (He thinks I've been on and off for years lol)
Me: Yeah, I know, but I kinda started a little lately. Michael was by, and he had some, and I hadn't seen him in awhile. (Michael is my brother)
Dad: WHAT, HE SMOKES AS WELL
Dad: "Long drawn out sigh" (Like you can tell he's getting flusterd)
Dad: Well, it's your life, I can't tell you what to do and not do
Me: Hehe, you did get really mad when I pretend I was gay
Dad: "#¤&¤ Can you be serious for one second, stop with that nonsense (Here I let him "take me" in a joke, or being silly, this balancing of my range helps my actual bluffs work close to 100% of the time)
Dad: Just wanted to check up on you, your phone's been off for a week
Me: Yeah, I don't really like phones
Dad: Stop being silly, you used to be on Facebook all the time, but not lately
Me: I kinda prefer how it was in the old days
Dad: What do you mean?
Me: They used Pigeons, the wrote letters and had them deliver it
Dad: Stop being silly
Me: No, it's true!!
Me: Would be cool if we used drums
Dad: .......
Me: Or smoke signals maybe
Dad: I'm hanging up
Me: Noo wait nooooo
Dad: Good bye
Me: Noooooo "clark, he hangs up" ooooohhehehhehehEHEHEHEHEHE *evil laugh*
"Then a shrug" and a "throw phone in sofa"
Fuck, this kinda dragged on. I've got a few more articles to read through, and I kinda got lost in this lol.
I wonder if I'll just leave all of this in the blog article, without proof-reading or checking anything. Just have it as it got streamlined when I wrote it. Yeah, I think I'll do that =]
Sorry about the formatting (not sure if that's the right word lol).
But I wrote everything in Office, had it all cool, and when I pasted to LP, it all got fucked, so took ages to fix it. So it's kinda Raw, did one "move around sentences n stuff" and that took 40 minutes. Didn't plan any of that, just wanted to write my thougts, and nod down whatever I doing, show what I was reading, thinking, eating, doing n stuff.
Oh, and I kinda had to "do this" before the "end" of the day, or I'd be too tired and not bother. So I'm kinda still not done with the day. I just did 5 min exercise, and I'm making last meal of the day, gonna try heated milk, oatmeal with some cottage cheese, to try and do that induce sleep thingy lol.
Ohh, to celebrate after making the blog post, I watched the latest manga, totally forgot about that lol.
I read One Piece, Naruto, Bleach and Fairy Tail yay
Was really cool episodes <3

Pretty cool experiment, def think you have one of the best blogs on LP even though none of it is really about poker. Will be doing some of those exercises from now (hopefully) that you linked in the beginning
What the hell is wrong with you? I skimmed through this post a bit and the girl pms are enraging. I would've certainly thought that she was an idiot if she didn't ignore you or respond in the way she did to your shit. There was nothing funny or witty about it, you were just being obnoxious.
No wonder your "friend" ignores you often... you're trivial and hyperactive, something intelligent and calm people try to avoid. And from what you've shown of your friend here, we clearly share nothing in common except our annoyance with your behavior. I wouldn't share my sexual life with you or anyone unlike he did, and I have no interest in these new age techniques to induce certain pleasurable/relaxing states. Although, I did try some binaural stuff being used for meditation purposes a few years ago, but it was mainly for the rainy background which was great.
Also, jesus, how many times in a day do you think of me? I skimmed and saw my name 3 times already!

Ok, you know what Marius, I was just reading some Zapffe and realized you are Norwegian like him, and I'm guessing your friend is too. So if he is anything like me he should know who he is and have read him. Just ask him if he knows who he is and if he agrees with his philosophy or not. If he doesn't, he is nothing like me. Pretty simple. Also try and get him to read the short essay 'Den sidste Messias' (The Last Messiah) if he doesn't know about it. I don't know if you can find it in your mother tongue but it's in English here: http://scratchpad.wikia.com/wiki/The_Last_Messiah

Why would you think that! He finds a girl who is apparently very good at a certain technique and starts first convo with "Hey Fishka, or uhm, Fishcake (rolls better of the tongue). So from now on, that's what I'll call you."
Then goes on to list some things that he has just discovered about said technique and doesn't even think that she knows about it even though the only reason he's contacting her is because she is good at it (therefore obviously knows). Then uses the word "crap" to describe what she does, and realizes far too late that she knows about it and still thinks it's worth sending because it's "warm and witty" (just a rationalization for having committed to writing it, in reality).
Oh well, crazies are the best entertainers.

I didn't know, but I was kinda looking for something like that. I've always just stretched a bit, done a few jumps, felt a little stupid. So groggy in the morning, not started thinking yet.
I did the exercises before bed and first thing in the morning, peed and drank some water first though. Then did the routine. Feels pretty cool I think.

is this your typical day? are you working or studying? or what do u do for a living?
great in depth of a unique mind
Hey, yeah, but it depends a little, some days I go trips in the forest, some days I try and read in books, but that goes A LOT SLOWER, since I don't read that fast, and when I read books I write a lot more notes, and I feel drained a lot faster.
But pretty typical of a normal day.
I am Bi-Polar or something like that, so on those days I try and not bother anyone, write anything, I can't.
What happens is I'm happy or close to euforic large portions of the day, I think about the most usless stuff, I scribble notes, I troll, I am myself I feel. But when night comes, LOL, at trying to sleep, I wake up, I feel the urge to do something, I fantazie, it never shuts up in there. Even when I try real hard at doing mindful breaths and all that crap.
So then what happens is I can't sleep for a long time, when that happens I get so stressed, I think I keep producing adrenalin, kortisol or something like that, which gives less attention to my digestive system, then what happens is I get constipated, even though I don't want to lol. And then next is the down period. In there I'm a lot less careless, I switch personality, and I write and think close to how Loco writes on lp when he being all "deep" and clever. And I'm in a very dark place.
The second I leviate myself, get sleep. BLAM, I wake up euforic and happy, and so it goes.
I work 50%, 3 times a week.
I like to read, study, take notes, just for the fun of it, instead of playing games all day, I found out I kinda feel the same when I just learn shit, so I do that instead.

Interesting
Does that mean if I turn on the shower n have a wank, it'll feel a little better? Please feel free to elaborate xD
Yeah, was just googling it. Giving it a read, skimmed through the Norwegian story as well, but I really want to keep going at it with the Greek philosopher's first.
Really felt like going in the forest, it's 01:00 at night, so I called a mate, it took around 20 minutes of convincing, but he agreed to wake up, get dressed and drive over.
Yay
It'll be pretty amazing, since the clouds are really dark, so we probably won't be able to see shit.

skimmed. the part about you watching some random pua's youtube videos stuck out + approach anxiety.
thought i might be able to offer a suggestion:
then i realized i'd probably type too much and I have to get to sleep soon.
short version:

(realize it's normal human thing and not really related to girls/sexuality in any way)
-realize you have to do it a lot, for no reason if necessary, to prove to your hindbrain that it's not worth getting excited over.
sort of a thermonuclear option would be to go on a pickup forum, find a guy/group of guys who go out regularly, ghost them for one weekend (thurs, fri, sat night works) going out, knock out low triple digit #s of approaches and see how you feel afterwards.
all up to you, whether or not you view the nervousness/anxiety as a problem or want to do anything about it. just showing it's really easy to work on if you so desire.
It's 1 and a half nightclub in my city, and 3-4 bars lol.
After going there 5-6 times you'll start to recognize everyone, and a lot of people "kinda know" who everyone else is, and if you don't know, you just ask 2-3 of the people you know, and one of them is bound to know a lot about the person.
The shyness I think is primarily from being by myself most of the time.
Enjoyed reading the first part of your blog because i related to all the stretching and mobility because i'm interested in that aswell right now.
I have recommend getting Book , i've read the hardcopy from cover to cover and it is by far the best book about stretching i've come across. When i went to the chiropractor he recommended getting BOOK #2 which i did. Stumbled across the golf fitness academy and they have a bunch of things on golf specific mobility and quite a few exercises GFA - might be useful to someone playing golf and reading this. I'd be interested in more mobility/stability/stretching links you come across.
You mentioned being really lightweight, have you tried putting on more weight in the gym? You seem to eat proper and have an active lifestyle (walks, light jogging, concious about your health) but i couldn't really say you were building much muscle.
The second part is just creepy/weird. Being proud of being really anxious, all over the place, wild, mental doesn't really add but rather subtracts imo. Hope you get what i'm trying to say here. You come off as an evil brother of Kramer from the Seinfeld.
Cool, might read that when I'm done with the one I'm on atm xD
I lift weights 2 - 3 times a week as well, pretty worried about injuring myself, since a little over 2 years ago I got a nasty injury around the weights I'm lifting now.
I only get stronger, not bigger, I'm not 100% why, I do 6-10 reps, in between there. And I mostly lift for upper body, chest, tricep, a little back.
Someone else pm'd me and said I came off as cheerful, vibrant and full of life. It's interesting that it varies so much what people really read when they read it. Also comparing it to what I mean what I write it. I'm just not skillful enough, I should be able to portray what I feel so everyone feels the joy, wit, warm and positive shit I'm trying to express.
xD (I really like this smiley, I probably invented it).
I knew them before, they played at an annual music festival that is held in a picturesque landscape with a nice lake in Estonia. I wasn't there but my friend was and he recommended it to me. After having listened to "birds flying by flapping their wings" and "dissolving clouds" i knew i was hooked. Put on the cd and enjoyed the album from start to finish during nighttime with no distractions. Just listening and doing some stretches (had watched some Yin yoga where you hold a stretch for an extended period of time so gave it a go and it fit well because you don't have to be as mindful with your poses).
We need a thread with sensible people posting sensible music they enjoy with links to reviews and perhaps one or two songs. There have been attempts at music threads but they fade away quickly because of lacking content. Maybe i should start a blog. Loco, how much interest do you have for eastern philosophies e.g. buddhism?

Not many people on here fit those criteria, better to use sites made for that. I'm a music fan but I have a pretty strong aversion to discussing music on the internet.
I've had very strong interest in Eastern philosophy for maybe 5 years now (as my signature about the Buddha on here would indicate). I had an interest in it before I knew anything at all about Western philosophy. I've been mostly a student of Advaita Vedanta, which I prefer to Buddhism. This makes me a bit at odds with other philosophical pessimists who gravitate towards Buddhism more.

I liked 3 of the songs in that recommendation thread, one of them was the biosphere thingy. So the last week or so when I'm studying I've made a playlist full of that shit, I like it since it's one of the few who doesn't drag my concentration away from whatever I'm doing, pretty nifty. Whilst most of the other stuff is just "too much" stuff going on.

Yeap. It goes a little something like this.
Ride my bike to the gym, 8 minutes!
I take 2 set of crunches, and 2 of those for your back as warmup. (This is something I didn't use to do, I'd jog for 5 minutes, then have at the weights. But this old guy had retired, think his name was Dietermar Wolfman, or something like that. And he's been training up young kids "well 19 +", and on all their programs he has that as warmup instead of jogging. And the guy's legit, so I decided to try that as warmup instead).
I start with Flat Bench Dumbbell press, for chest, triceps and a little bit of shoulders.
I do one light, 10kg, 10 times or so
- Next is 7x20kg
Then I go for what I think I can take
- 5x32
- 8x30
x 8x 27,5
then i make it steeper, so it's got an angle, and I do 3-4 more sets
In between, first thing I do when I get up is I try and flex, and squeeze the chest muscle, not sure why, it feels cool, then i relax, and I do it once more, squeeeze, then I relax
After that I do 1 set sometimes 2 of Push ups, just to make sure I got everything out!! Normally around 30 - 40 or something
Then I do 2 exercises for Triceps, depends which one I feel like doing.
And that's bout it.
I also have a routine for Legs/back
I do Squats as warmup, no weights, sometimes a little jump at the end, then that machine u do instead of squats with weight on you. I go more up in reps here, like 12 or something, and I do more sets, like 6.
Then Lunges, and a machine for the upper side of the thighs.
For back I do Deadlifts and pulldowns.
The upper body workout is around 45 - 50 minutes, the legs/back is around 1 hour 10 minutes

Yeap. It goes a little something like this.
i'm not an expert and don't know your training experience but your rep ranges seem a little high. i know there's hypertrophy-specific workouts that use higher rep ranges but i assume you want to add a bigger foundation first. the machine you use instead of squats, i assume you're talking about a Smith machine? either way, unless you have some odd physical condition where you can't do squats correctly you should just do normal squats without the machine, they're about a million times better for you. with all the reading about stuff you do i assume you know about Starting Strength? if not you might want to check it out, here's a summary of the program: http://startingstrength.wikia.com/wik...ing_Strength_Novice/Beginner_Programs
the book is really helpful too, very dry though. if you look at Jas0n's 2nd to last blog post (not the most recent one) in one of the pics they actually have a copy laying on the bench by their squat rack
i think with all the things you log and keep notes on, keeping an exercise log might be the most useful.

6 - 10 doesn't feel that high, I usually go up in weight if I can take 8 or more, and then keep at it with the new weight till I can beat 8 again. Something along those lines xD (I only do lots of reps when I do my legs, then it's 12 ish, maybe 13 or 14 if I'm feeling frisky).
Ah, I ment I'm using Leg Press machine thingy, not smith machine, I youtubed the smith machine, not that one, I can't use those lol.
I've got an odd physical condition wher I can't do squats correctly. I can't move my arm behind the bar, I had a Frozen shoulder 2 years ago.
I've read most starting programs on a lot of different sites, bodybuilding.com, iform.no, and I've read through most of the thingys that come up when I google, and I'm subscribed to 4 different ones about training, Mikechang guy, Hodgetwins (like them the most, since they're funny lol), that old guy who's over 50, but he creeps me out a little, so not watching much of him, and some fat guy. (not really at, just don't remember the name lol).
I'll defintly check out the link, thanks for trying to help. I'll give it a good look and a read, and I'll write a comment on what I thought about it <3
Oh, was a little short, didn't know wiki had those as well, so sick.
I kinda agree with it, but I think I'm a little more advanced, not that much lol, but I'm much better at techniques and know more stuff than what it might look like, if you look at my skinny physique.
Might put that one on my sister, she just started working out, and wanted to become stronger than her husband lol

he explains what he means by novice/intermediate/etc. on the chart, but for practical programming purposes it just means that you're still at a stage where you're capable of making linear gains with a basic compound lifting program like SS without requiring more complex programming. i.e. someone can have intermediate+ strength levels and it might still be optimal for them to do SS, it just depends on their genetics. in other words, it's desirable to stay on a "novice" program as long as possible, since gains come much more slowly with intermediate/advanced programs.
Tried just chest, then one isolation. Not sure, but felt pretty cool. Gonna hurry n get some food in me
(Also really unsure about that, some people say that the growth hormone works wonder if you wait longer before you put carbs and protein in you, and some say u need it instant).
*confused*
but my intuition tells me it might very well be, but not if ur super skinny, since u can't let it work then. Just a guess though
Under the Bench press, with barbells. What you reckon, in your opinion is the equivelant with dumb bells? When combined weight is 145 if I + the weight together, so I'm somewhere between novice and intermediate, wuhu!!

Db's or barbell is kinda the same for me , i press 2x 38 kg or 75 kg barbell
Meh u read all those books & stuff on the internet . Even make notes and all .
I'm also a big note taker etc...
But man, i dun like ur workout's at all . Even tho , theres so much info on the internet .
U should try to only train for max 45-60 minutes .
U should def. squat! .
U need to add weights to ur benchpress if ur pressing more then 6 reps .
Don't do pushups . Also , if i'm correct u do legs / back together & triceps/chest together ?
best u do upper / lower body on different days or
a chest/bicep Back / Tricep Legs / shoulder workout . Along those lines.
Wich is intermediate , maybe best to follow the rippetoe starting strength . if ur a beginner
+1 for doin deadlifts tho . =]
Also whats ur height & weight ?
Sry if i sound offending , i'm just dissapointed ;D
Mariuslols routine looks fishy. One thing is having a routine the other is following it. I agree to disagree with fellow posters. There is like a 0.1% chance someone has an illness that doesn't allow them to work out and enjoy the benefits of doing it. If you've never been into sports and never trained in your life, you probably don't know how to. You need a 50y.o retired guy to yell at you when working out. Seems to me you do little just to feel better about yourself and get to pat yourself on the back for living a "perfect life". Odds are, something is off. The easy road is to tell yourself you can't do it and just sit there doing nothing. I've had lower back and knee injuries and i'm more fit and stronger than when i was competing in national level tennis. Frozen shoulder? I call bs. My 2 cents.

i don't really know the answer to either of these. i'm pretty sure it's good to eat a meal within an hour or two of your workout, but that's based off what everyone who seems knowledgeable says, i don't understand any of the biochemistry behind it, seems logical in a simple kinda way though. in terms of body composition though meal timing seems to be a pretty minor issue, if it is one at all. certain ways of timing meals might help with compliance and such but if willpower is not an issue then getting the same breakdown of macronutrients (protein/fat/carbs) should get the same results, pretty much regardless of timing (within a 24hr period). lyle mcdonald has good nutrition articles on his site if you want to get into it a bit more: http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/ i haven't read most of them but the ones i have are very informative and high-content.
99% chance that you don't see size results in working out because of one of these or a combination of both.
1. don't consistently perform your work outs (ie randomly not going to the gym for a week)
2. don't consume enough calories consistently (ie hitting the 3500+ calories/day for one or two days, feeling really great about your accomplishment (Cuz its fucking hard for a lot of people), and then not for the rest of the week)
even if your workout itself is suboptimal, so long as you're lifting stuff that is hard for you to lift and eating a surplus of calories, you should gain weight
gaining muscle/size requires you to do the same thing that it'd take for you to get fat (see #2, eating a shitload), its just that you are doing it consciously and combining it with exercise.
source: personal experience. I tend to have a very low bmi. I've gained & lost as much as 20 pounds of muscle at different points of my adult life (135lb 8% body fat -> 155lb 6% body fat) and the above is exactly how it works. it can be very very difficult to maintain the proper eating habits without immense discipline or an attraction to food

Hey, since you didn't read the important bits.
- I do train 45-50 mintes lol.
- I CANT DO SQUATS, LITERALLY <---- Can't do em lol, so leg press best option, or do 100 squats no weights, which i occasionally do for change of pace.
- Since I'm skinny not that advanced, I decided to add weights after 8 reps, + former injuries, so I'm kinda doing this as well.
- I CAN'T do bench, so free weights, so dumb bells instead, each time you ( I ) go up a weight, it is around 4 reps, or 5, so I'm doing what you're saying lol.
- I did a lot of research on what split to have, if you're more advanced, train more, I like upper lower, but I'm very skinny, and I want to train my chest, triceps, that area twice a week, and I just lift weights 3 times a week. The legs can take a lot more punishment as well, so Leg n Back. I tried the other variant, felt jicky for my body. So went back to leg back, and Chest/triceps. (Monday, wedns, sat) or fri.
- To the Push up one. I sent pm's to a lot of the top guys, asking about that, they said it was a brilliant idea to make sure I got out every last bit, after doing the compound exercise first. So not sure if you're joking there.
First lift my heart out, can't get up weights anymore, but push ups is doable, so gogo get it out.
I'm 61kg / 134 lbs
176cm tall 69 inches (not sure if that's what ppl use lol)

When I was around 22, I did 90 bench, 140 push ups, 40 pull ups, I ran 3150 cooper...
I then got an extremely rare disease, don't want to get into it, but barely moved or trained for 2-3 years, lost weight from 67kg down to 55kg. Body pretty torn to shred. Had to build up, after a few a year of training I got a frozen shoulder, for being a bit of a retard. Got so addicted to training, overdid it, wanted to run, lift weights, martial arts, just too much. And since I'm a retard, I ruined it, end of sessions I'd challenge the coach "Hey!! I still got more power left, awrrgfhhh, sissy workout haha".
He'd smile and "ohh, so that's how it's gonna be"
And he'd challenge me to more push ups, pull ups etc. I'd always lose, but still fun.
Couldn't use my right arm for anything strainous. The bare minimum was clicking my mouse, and even playing SC was a bit too much, since you click to much and get too excited, or into it.
Couldn't brush my teeth with right arm, couldn't masturbate, so had to do that shit left hand lol.
First 1-2 hours of waking up, was extreme pain, since I always roll around in bed, so painful.
Had to start over the second it started to work, I had tried to do 1 push ups for months, but couldn't do it, then suddenly one day, during a long walk, I went down on all four again, and I gave it a try, and I managed to do one.
So happy I nearly cried lol (I probably did lol), since then I knew, I'd be able to take 2-3 in a few days, and I so I started training againg in around December, and I've built up.
When I was around 20 push ups, I got gym membership, and now, 7 months later I'm around 60 push ups. I still can't do all the movements, due to the frozen shoulder. It gets extremly painful for some movements still. Like Squats, I literally can't bend it back that way. And anything more than a few cm over the 90degree angle starts to hurt. So that's why Dumbbells and not Bench. (Although I've tried bench, with very light weights, just as warmup, to see how it's going lol).
And the 50 year old is another awesome story, he doesn't train at the same gym as me, nor have I talked to him. My brother trains at another small gym, mostly people who are really strong. Like the strongest Woman in Norway trains there, people who compete. (Mostly people who look like a square block lol).
And my brother had been complaining, 3-4 guys he knew, kinda his age, young people, around 20 - 22 something around there, who had only been training for 5-6 months were so fucking strong. And he had asked them, and all of them had gotten programs, diet, shit like that from that old guy. He's trained many of the strongest people in Norway. And I was a little intrigued, and just by listening about it, and reading some of the programs. (It's like 40 members at that gym, so since he lives nearby, and retired, he's helping people who ask for it).
And I just adopted one of the things on the program. Not like I follow or do any of that. Intrigued, yes, interested, a bit. But it's a bit "above my payroll". Since most of the exercises in that program, is almost only Deadlift, Squats, Bench, different versions of it, and it's brutal, like a 1 hour 20. I think it's ment for fatter people lol.
Seems to me you do little just to feel better about yourself and get to pat yourself on the back for living a "perfect life". Odds are, something is off. The easy road is to tell yourself you can't do it and just sit there doing nothing
I do more than most people I've met in my life lol. Most people I feel would cry and give up if they've been in just a fraction of the suffering I've endured, and if I cry, it's to not give up. You're seriously underestimating the heart, bravery and awesomeness coming out of this Norwegian.

I think it's my sleep, that I on a good night wake up 20 times, and that I never have a propper rhythm, and very bad sleep.
btw def agree that push-ups are good, no need to get rid of them. if anything i'd ditch the Leg Press machine and do Glute Ham Raises and some other thing if you need something else for quads. my quads grow like weeds so i'm not really familiar with assistance-type exercises for targeting them but there has to be something better than doing leg presses.
pull-ups/chin-ups are super awesome and don't require any particular kind of equipment so i'd do those for sure, just my 2c.
mm, I love the two last ones. I keep re-trying from time to time, but also really difficult for me to do, due to stupid/limited shoulder movements.
But I'll keep "testing" until I can do them.
I do shoulder mobility exercises every day, and hopefully, eventually it'll be 100%. Then I'll jump on pull ups and chins, pull ups were kinda my favorite xD or top 2
Really liked the end of the article for some reason lol:
an insidious (and stupid) idea that is out there (especially in the realm of bodybuilding) is that trainees should focus on irrelevant things: the feel, the squeeze, the pump. This is crap and guys who do this, unless they are on drugs, simply don’t grow. Muscle grows as a function of progressive tension overload, if you’re not adding weight to the bar over time, you’re not growing. This doesn’t mean that you have to add weight at every workout, but if you’re not gradually going heavier over time, you won’t be growing either.

I wasn't calling you out on your shoulder injury, just saying that it doesn't prevent the rest of your body from exercising. I know nothing of your condition but i hope it has passed. You work out and i applaud that but i might be biased because to me gaining weight seems easier than to lose weight. I've never been under or overweight myself so i wouldn't know for sure. Are you doing mobility exercises for your whole body or just the shoulder? Is it stretching or strength conditioning (active stretching)? Shoulder must be the most complex joint and it is a real chore to get it working properly again. From what i've heard from a friend who had shoulder injuries you're supposed to do exercises through pain so that must suck. With that said, if something is difficult or hard for your body to do you should be doing more of it and less of the easy stuff. If it is difficult for you to squat, do assisted squats. Exercises for your ankles and hips help aswell.
mm, after my disease my small intenstence, or how you spell it stopped taking up complicated stuff, around 40 types of sugar. So what I can eat is extremly limited. And that helps the problem of not gaining weight, It's an interessting conondrum. Doctors and stuff seem to be finding the problem interessting, and I keep getting sent forms for research, and it's like every shrink in the building want time with me. Pair that with insanely fast metabolism = constant same weight.
I got so mad when they kept saying the same shit "ahh people think they eat more than they do, ahh, they eat a big meal and BLAM think they ate a lot, and don't eat for 5-6 hours".
So I started recording my eating, took pictures, and calculated calories, and tried for a 1 month to lie around 5500 calories a day. Go on the scale, exact same weight.
Now I'm even more confused, all that energy has to go somewhere, something has to happen to it, I dun get it. Maybe it just uhm, kinda passes through, and I poop it out? No idea, lol.
A little scared of doing exercises that hurt the shoulder, my first fysioterapaut gave me, and they were extremely painful, and he had diagnosed me wrong, and he then later found out it was a frozen shoulder. (Thanks to me, I started studying my symptions and found out he was wrong with his diagnosis). And then I got told to not use it for awhile.
And then I only walked trips n shit, I know I should have trained more, but was in too much pain to think clearly for too many hours of the day. Maybe if I had been even more bad ass I would have lol.
When i had my knee injury (trauma) i went to a number of specialists and did all the tests. TLDR version is doctors are retards and it is easier for them to say you will never be able to do x y and z and if you continue doing what you do you might need surgery and wheelchairs and what not. After visiting countless dumbasses finally one orthopeditian recommended cycling and swimming and getting a knee strap. So that's where i got started with rehabilitation. My chiropractor is so badass he showed me a couple of exercises and doing them religiously got rid of the pain fast. After that i visited a professional rehabilitation nurse or w/e you call her and had a few appointments with a physiotherapist who works with the chiropractor. Improper training methods (right side much stronger than left, compare Nadals arms for example) coupled with the knee injury caused problems in the back. Back to the drawing board it was. From experience i can say doing exercises is key. From what i read about frozen shoulder syndrome you should be doing exercises every day religiously. And while at it, do some squats, you will see improvement for sure.
I definitely agree wholeheartedly with your last post.
I feel I want to do A LOT MORE than I'm actually doing atm, but in the past I've been known to suddenly get immersed, addicted, lost in whatever it was I was seeking out. So being maybe too careful now.
Like when jogging, I hate the first 7 min, so hard, then next is easier, when I start to get really exhausted, and willpower kicks in, I start to become really happy and I want to go faster, go more. Like I want to keep going till I pass out, feint etc. (So now I stop myself at 20 minutes, and I stop the urge to go max speed and sprint till I almost pass out).
Before when I was younger and jogged, I often prepared for it, like I'd imagine best way to "fall" when I feinted. When I was feeling "trollish" I'd call to get a mate on a cycle with me to take care of me when the collaps comes. Just stupid shit (See how long I can jog at pretty good speed), and I keep at it for over an hour, and then when I'm so exhausted I feel like I'm on my limit, it feels as if the body start doing magical shit, you feel sensations you've not really felt before, like weird coctails are being made. So instead of stopping, calling it quits, I try to sprint, see what happens, and I go for max speed, see how many minuts I can do it.
Then well yea, usually not that good ending.
BUT, I feel I've learned from those mistakes (the being a retard mistakes). Well not 100%, but gotten a lot better at not being a full fledged retard.
(Kinda like the Greeks you might say, suffer my way to wisdom, yay).

cariadon + all,
I would be interested in a stretching/yoga thread. Flexibility, mobility, inflammation, muscle balance, skeletal balance, posture are my biggest weaknesses right now and tend to always be my reason for sticking points/injuries. I would imagine a lot of people on this site are in similar boats with all the chronic sitting and computer usage many of us have had in our lifetimes.
It doesn't help that many of the repetitive bending, twisting, reaching actions in sports are pretty brutal on the body regardless of proper technique, warmup, care, etc.
I guess the biggest key is everything in moderation but moderation is probably another weakness for many people on this site.
I bought one of them thingys that count the steps you take here the other day. And I'm still doing that "ninja" 5 min every morning for mobility, feels pretty good.
And I tried to take to heart that shit about getting up every hour and stretch, a few minuts break. Also that tip about, after having eaten a heavy meal, I go do some dishes, or some housework instead of laying down.
So far so good, feels pretty good.
Could use some better strech exercises maybe after having jogged, I just stretch whatever feels good for 10 - 15 minutes, mostly the normal, standard stuff.
LEt's see, I walkted 6503 steps yesterday!! I wonder if that's good lol. Think ur suppose to try and be around 10.000 each day or something along those lines.
