So I'm looking to buy some good quality headphones I found these on Amazon.com
#1
but they unfortunately do not ship to Canada, so I check amazon.ca and I find...
#2
The USD : CAD conversion rate is almost exactly 1:1, and yet everything in Canada costs between 30-100% more (this pisses me off). Anything I can do here? Or anyone know of any good quality headphones that are under $50 which ship to Canada?

I don't like the material on the ear area, it looks super "flaky" in the pictures.
That stuff will peel off pretty quick, and then shed onto your shoulder. So once it starts shedding, you will probably get annoyed and just peel the rest of that stuff off yourself.
I need new headphones as well, but I'm waiting until the holidays where it will be cheaper. |

if you look on the bottom right box for more buying choices, most of those merchants have their own websites. you can check if you can buy it off them and if they ship to canada. |

I might buy a Sennheiser X2 for Halo 4.
I wasn't disappointed with the performance of HD595.
My roommate purchased HD650 from EBay and received a serious-looking package.
Without accoutrement, it was difficult to assess quality of Sennheiser headphones not shipped from Sennheiser store. |

Tom,
I don't know if they have them or not in your area but the Turtle Beach headphones for Xbox/PS3 work for computers as well and are pretty awesome. My only real complaint is they tend to not be super durable and break after ~6 months or so but that's almost expected I guess. Anyways I think they're ~$50, at least in the states, hopefully its similar in Canada :/ |

yeah if you want Quality yo uwill have to go over $100 and probably look for brands like Bose, a waste of money unless you really use them and enjoy quality in sound.
I just bough those common cheap new Sonys. |

On my old headphones I'm using, Everglide, it says it has a "20Hz - 20,000Hz Frequency Response".
When I checked Wikipedia for frequency response, it said "In high fidelity audio, an amplifier requires a frequency response of at least 20–20,000 Hz."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frequency_response#Applications
This confuses me a bit, as I'm looking up some $300+ "high definition" headphones on Newegg, and they don't have as high of a frequency as the headphones I'm currently using.
Anyone know more about frequency response? |

Good quality headphones under $50 don't exist.
I can recommend Klipsch if you want to spend a little bit more. |

Sennheiser is a better brand than Bose.
22$ headphones will not be good, id get something around 100$
I've had the Senn HD650's for around 5 years and they still work very well after dropping them numerous times and taking them all over the world.

My biggest issue with buying more expensive ones is that I want to buy it for everyday use walking, running etc.. My previous ones experienced water damage and one side stopped working because it started raining while I was going for a run and I could not protect them. So I don't wanna spend $200 on something I may have to replace sooner rather then later |

why not buy a good pair of ear buds for when you're exercising? I find it hard to even listen to the sound quality on any cheap ear buds compared to something higher quality like beats turbines. |

Get proper in-ears, they come in different sizes, you'll find one that fits. If you have money to spend you can get custom in-ears (which is what I use).
If you want affordable in-ears, these are very populair. I advice them to everyone, no one has came back disappointed. I use them for working out, they stay in quite well and the sound is quite good for the price. |
