I forgot to mention that since you're changing your entire wardrobe, you must also change your hairstyle too. Since you currently dress like a 15 year old, I'm sure your hairstyle is around that age as well.
I'd recommend finding the closest Korean hair salon in your area. Korean hair stylists keep up with the trends and are able to create things on the fly for you, as well as cutting your hair any way you want it, like if you brought in a picture they could sculpt it for you.
If you're paying under $30 for your haircut, you're probably not getting a very stylish cut.
If you're a stylish person, getting your hair cut at a barber or SuperCuts location is usually forbidden. There's some Vietnamese salons that do okay, but they usually aren't as "hip" to the latest trends and usually go off of memory for their hairstyles, which is why I like Korean salons much better.
Use Google to find Korean salons near you, then use Yelp to see what they're rated. |

this thread blew up.
-i bought these jockey sweat pants, they are by far the best sweat pants i ever bought in like over 5 years. I think they are 65% polyster all black and so comfortable.
- i see those checkered shorts with two pattern colors, they are sooo ugly, i much prefer a clean denin shorts knee high, not those loose gangster ones you see with a picture on the back pocket, thats just cheese.
- recently into sleeveless shirts, casually wearing white dress shirts but folding half sleeve, i have a LA kings hat with a snake skin i think its sick but would love a matching belt someday.
- i've also been having un urge to get tatted but i dont know how that applies to the tread. |

I think some sneakers (Vans Authentics, Jack Purcell's) without socks look alright under shorts. Flip flops look retarded anywhere off the beach.
On a small budget: Bass Buckingham
A little more: Herrington Suede Bucks
Baller: Alden for J. Crew suede bucks
I prefer bucks over penny loafers, but if you like them, buy one by these guys.
Also, don't actually go sockless, that's nasty. Buy no-show socks aka loafer socks. |

I have a fade, there is a huge difference between buzzing your own hair and getting a fade. If you like your hair cut short/buzzed go to a black/persian barber don't trust white ppl or asians to give you a fade. There is this guy in Vancouver that cuts Ice Cubes, Kanye basically any black rapper that shows up in Vancouver, he charges $25 and takes like 1 Hr giving me a fade. Basically he's a sick perfectionist and its kind of annoying to sit there for like an hour getting a hair cut. The other guy I go to takes about 30 min and only charges $15( I tip him like 5 dollars every time so really its $20) Along with cutting your hair they should line up your hair line, and you can also get them to line up/clean up any facial hair it will make a huge difference in your appearance |

I like deck shoes or overtly unconstructed canvas shoes with that look. basically something that will never draw attention to your feet and let the shirt be the star of your outfit. |

why you so obsessed with haircuts?
i used to fade the sides up to the top and get the top a number 3 back then. was much longer. i just do a number 1 all over now and keep it really short. not changing my hair i like it this way and dont like longer hair

You're the one who made a thread asking people how to improve your wardrobe. You cant just improve your wardrobe and not improve your hairstyle. Hair, clothes, and shoes are all part of "the look", as well as having confidence to go along with it.
If you want to improve your outer appearance, you need to upgrade your haircut just like you're doing with your clothes. It's like seeing a girl wearing a nice dress and she didn't comb her hair.
If you buy new clothes and say to yourself "damn, I look good from head to toe", then go for it, I'm just letting you know how other people will see your outer appearance.
Also, this is all to upgrade your style, so don't feel like I'm hating on you. |
