It varies person to person, but fidgeting is fine and normal for people to do when they have to sit still and focus as much as possible. But yeah, choose fidgets that are less flamboyant IMO. Doodling, grip squeezer or stress ball are v good. Poker chips or a LOt of pen twirling, not so much. Especially since you'll be dropping them and making a minor ruckus occasionally.

on other hand I remember pokerpadz (mouse pad (that looked like poker table felt) and some chips with it) not sure if it still exist. before you could buy it on some site with vip points, but I dont have it ;p

You could always take notes during class. That is what I do.
