I was kinda rooting for you on this one (well the other guy was an obvious ass), but dude, don't take this stuff too seriously because it's ugly. Also, giving the middle finger to the world requires balls, but it's probably stressful as fuck too (+variance kicks in the balls too much, so prob best to try not to be so emotionally involved with grudge matches).

lol. i declined to play him not cuz im afraid to lose but cuz it's not a very economical use of my time. i play like 15 hours a week so my time is much better spent playing mid-high stakes 6max.

i played the other dude cuz he attacked me personally AND i thought i had an edge ... i dont have any qualms w/ song nor am i sure i have any edge to be gained. i said i'd think about it since he was offering odds .. i still will.

and im obv not gonna play any HS HU crusher who might come in and try to appeal to my ego by attacking me just for the sake of action. im not an idiot. i was better than that fool that challenged me, but im not better than a lot of other guys.

it was about somebody talking a lot of shit and then getting it shoved in their face. you don't see respected players coming and doing this to me. some may think i think im better than i am and try to capitalize by getting me to play them, but poker is about knowing your limits and knowing when to play and when not to play. if u cant figure that out and u arent one of the top players in the world, you'll always be broke. if u cant understand this concept, you likely aren't a pro.

I wasn't asking for game to attack you. I was hoping I made that clear in our convo. All I wanted was a real HU match to keep my game in check. I thought you'd be a good candidate with you being someone I can trust with sidebet and conditions we'll play in. I didn't offer odds to offend you nor because I think I'm that much better. It was just to give you incentive to play. Tbh, I think I'm the underdog and I respect your game. If I didn't, I wouldn't have asked.

there never was any challenge. i never challenged ANYONE. i never even claimed to be an above average heads up player. i actually admitted multiple times to that.

it's not a big deal because i had to be good to win, it was a big deal because the guy talked a bunch of trash and put up a bunch of money to play me when he didnt really stand much of a chance.
