Not to be a dick but can you even cashout on these sites? From what ive read it takes months if at all...

lol, dunno why anyone would think u r a dick for asking that?

its tough to get it set up in a favorable way, but the way u want to do it is to have rotating cashouts on a weekly or bi-monthly basis from each site. it's so hard to get it set up right because u cant control where u run well and where u run poorly. they each have monthly limits, so the trick is to have a big enough bankroll to always be able to cash out the maximum limit each month without having to take a hit to your bankroll for that site or have to drop down in stakes.

i think i can take out ~35k a month between the 4. obviously i don't win this much every month so it generally works out fine for me.

this blog post was good. no drama or bullshit ego stuff, congrats on the good month. What has been the biggest change in your game/style/mentality in 2012?

I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time

sure. im not as good as some of the guys who post hh's regularly though. i have the most respect for song's hh's. longple's play is interesting too.

i mostly just play solid/standard and don't make mistakes.

thanks. dont expect future posts might not have that stuff though. im kind of a wild card. lol

not a ton has changed. i have been pretty successful since late 2010. i guess mostly it's two things.

1. money management has improved drastically. this is mostly a function of my age. not til i hit like 27 did i start to think 100k was not a lot of money. i also started to notice people in other fields my age started to catch up to me as far as having as much or more money than me. once i noticed that, i realized i needed to kick it into gear and get ahead again.

2. i was taking so much xanax and norcos that my brain wasnt working the way it should. so i cut back on those big time a few months ago. i notice my brain noticing causal connections that it wasn't making previously. so in other words ... i just see patterns more clearly i guess now.

and like i said in the OP ... every spot i play the same with a set range of hands. it's all predetermined so there is no guesswork. i'm never guessing at any point in any hand. if im guessing what to do, i'm probably playing poorly.

interesting mindset.. in that case how often do you consciously make adjustments to the predetermined game from off-table work?

that's a function of purely how frequently i have been working off the table. my off the table work is probably different from most people's though. i dont sit down and say "im gonna figure out ranges for these spots for the next couple hours" ... i just sorta read HH's in forums, i ask friends who i respect what they would do in certain spots and why, and it just has evolved from that.

you can group the different board textures into like 5 or so sub-sets which is helpful for this. what im noticing now is that these sub-sets have sub-sets of themselves which i havent spent enough time to really grasp the subtle differences between them. i mean like, the differences between Td9d7c and Td7c6c. there is a difference there and i know i should be playing hands differently on each but just not sure yet what it is and how widely my strategy should change.

my game is an amalgamation of all the people's games who i talk to regularly and who i have gotten coaching from. i guess most people could probably say that though.

Why haven't you moved out of the country yet? Having 40k locked up is pretty significant especially come tax season.

I yearn for PS/FT.
