So been with GF for 4 years, and i would say that for about 1 year its not been going too well (mostly since we started living together...). But its wasn't all that bad.
However 3 weeks ago i had the brillant idea to teach her call of duty 2. Since then, shes like playing this shit no-stop, going to bed at 4 am, not sleeping with me anymore, not eating much anymore, etc. Now the even more annoying thing about it is shes CONSTANTLY talking to guys on it, laughning etc, and doing god knows what with them. If i try to talk with her shes constantly interupting me to talk with them.
My first reaction was to kinda get mad at her, explaining her how this shit makes no sense. Her reaction was to change our relationship to "its complicated" on facebook, and completly stop sex, and tell me she will probably break up. When i try to say its ridiculous she destroy our relationship for a stupid game shes says game has nothing to do with it.
MY first reaction was kind of weak, telling her how much i care about her etc, asking for second chance.
Then seeing how this fails, i decided to just do the break up myself and act like i don't care (this actually confused her a bit...).
My current plan was to get myself my own place, ignore her for a full month, and then see whats up, but tbh shes so hooked on that game i'm not even sure she will miss me at all.
So just move on or what? i'm a bit frustrated cuz i actually loved her.

My guess is the relationship has run its course, and whether she plays the game or not she'll probably not be interested in hanging out with you. If you move out, I wouldnt even bother calling her in a month to see if you can rekindle. Call her if you actually just want to talk/hang out, and if she's game then whatever happens happens. You might go out to lunch, you might fuck, just see where it goes. If she rejects the idea and blows you off, then it's totally over and I'd never call her again. If you continue to date while separated, well then maybe you move back in again one day, maybe not. She'll miss the dick eventually, so the question is does she want yours or not. Hmmm i am sure your post is partly right, but trust me she IS hooked to that game. Maybe the guys she talk to is main reason thought. But trust me, even when her friends come over she basically ignore them to play that game. She also used to do a lot of "zumba" to loose her weight, but she stopped it since she started that game. She also used to be pretty disciplined for bed times... but now not at all.

ok i might have skipped some parts of the story.....
Basically i got kind of jealous of how she was talking with guys much hotter than me 24/7. And at one point she was talking with one in the bathroom and i kinda thought it was cyber or something, the way she talked sounded like it. I knocked at the door and confronted her. I think its a bit after that she decided to change relationship status and go away for the weekend.
Btw an important note is, there is literally no way she will ever met these guys. They're mostly americans or canadians and she lives in quebec.

The point is that you've tried communicating with her and you've accessed if your reaction to your relationship was logical and justified.
In this case, as you tell it, you made the steps in trying to repair the situation and it's not working. That's the tell-point of when to end the relationship unless things get better in the future (though its bad to plan right now with that expectation.)

1. She's grown distant with you playing CoD.
2. She's making online guy friends that she's obviously interested in.
3. She makes no effort to include you in this game.
4. You've talked about how playing the game and talking to the guys bothers you since you believe its more than just normal online banter.
Step 4 is important as you have to figure out if your complaint is justified according to your relationship. Seeing as how you've been in a relationship for four years, there probably is an understanding that exclusion, growing distant and not interacting with each other was agreed (invisibly) upon and that having cyber sex in the washroom with another guy is definitely not okay.
On these premises, I think you have every right to be jealous and confront her that her actions are not conducive to what you guys had in mind for a relationship.
So, you can:
1. Break up realizing that things had changed and the relationship that you wanted was no longer mutual.

Dont know if its worth it, thats up to you to decide, but if you want to save the relationship, you need to do something and definately dont be just dependent on her in everything you do.
Plan activities for yourself, do things and live your life indenpendently of her. Offer her to join you sometimes if she likes but dont mind if she doesnt. Just do things other than sitting at a computer.
Then maybe plan something for the two of you what you both like and what will make her feel good about herself. Like I dunno, some occassion where she gets to put her best evening dress on, etc. And after you go out like this, have fun, feel good, just come home and fuck her good (good for both of you, not just you ).

My girlfriend isn't chatting with 12 year old nerds, its mostly like young mens like 19-25 year olds, who are not nerds at all. As tom pointed out, cod2 is 95%+ guys so she has a lot of choice. She mostly go for the pros (yea another way to humiliate me cuz when i play with them the other guys are actually better than me and make fun of me lol). I also saw the pics of some of the guys and they're smoking hot.
ANyways at this point i'm pretty confident i can't save it for now. I'll move out, try to fuck other girls, and see what happens.

not trying to bash. just find it weird that 3 separate times in this thread you called these guys hot. i dont know if ive ever heard a straight guy call other guys "hot". i hear "hes much better looking than me" "hes handsome" "i wish i looked like that" "what a good looking guy" but never "hes smoking hot". and given how many times you said it shows you are either really insecure about your own looks or you are actually attracted to them.
maybe its a french canadian thing but the word hot specifically implies sexual attraction.
