On a serious note, I finally got a flat in Liberec, Czech Republic where I returned to after 8 years in Scotland, it will be a share. Place i'm going for:

- 18m2 room with carpet big window, cupboard, table bed.
- own storage space for bike etc. outside the flat.
- $185 final cost/mo (internet, electricity, water, city tax etc all already included)
- private landlord, cool guy retired doesn't live there - something breaks he will come next day.
- I can take guests in no problem, no rules apart from no smoking and not antagonizing neighbors too much
- share flat with 2 more ppl. I get to agree them first since I will be first moving in. So I can say no to total weirdos
- new bathroom added in a couple months
- I only need to give 1 month notice if I want to leave
-3 mins by bike to sports hall where I train. (with outdoors lap, ice hockey team plays highest league there, there's bowling etc.) 3 walk mins to big shop , few pubs around, a couple minutes to public transport. 15 minute walk to where my grandma lives who cooks for me sometimes


I must say I am relieved, I've seen quite a few flats that I could rent for myself and in the city you can easily get $190 rent+ around $100 bills 40-43m2 flats but they are hollow as in you have to put carpets in, fridge, even have to install lights as there are just sockets and frankly right now I can't be arsed with that stuff.

And all shares I went to were not with professional landlords like the one's flat I'm taking and that are standard in the UK but dickheads that already live there, own it and just rent a room and it was like fucking XFactor going for an audition and the pricks have their rules sme were weird and don't even call you and overall were super unprofessional. This is a proper landlord with experience that treats it like a business.

However if I decide to stay long term I might take one of the hollow flats - I mean $300 with bills for your own flat with big room and separate hall, kitchen and bathroom is dirt cheap too but I need to know I'll stay there a couple years so it's worth equipping painting carpeting etc. They are cheap because it's not through agency - I can either get my own flat through my cousing who works at a building association or from a local businessman directly who owns around 1,400 flats in the city.
Seems like a good option if ever get serious with a local honey

what are your total expenses per month roughly? seems so cheap

What are your goals? Have you considered getting certified in any particular field (non-college required) so you can make more money than you do at NL25?

I got HNC, HND, BA(hons) 2:1, over a year experience in sales, over a year experience in finance so don't see why I'd give a fuck about non college fields

Right now YOLO man, I don't want to start a family until my very late 30s so I say fuck it, I have a 1 year spanning goals one is poker second is florball and I'm not looking beyond that. I play poker because I like it and it lets me work around floorball unlike any other job. I could have gotten a $35k basic+good commission sales job if I stayed in the UK but right now sports family and friends with less money seem like a higher priority at this stage of my life.

Pint of lager in a pub $1-$1.5. Water is more expensive than beer in a pub, true story.
Gym entrance, unlimited for one day $3.2
public transport, one way $1 and you can get anywhere in the city for that
taxi around $5-$8 from town centre to my flat.
Meal in a non posh restaurant/pub $5.

So if you want to live cheap you defo can. everything I need is close to my flat so I don't drive, public transport goes all the way through the night on Friday and Sat so when I get hammered for $10 I can still go home by tram lol.

There are overpriced restaurants, spas for tourists, cocktails in clubs for posers not so cheap gas and branded clothes are more expensive than in the UK so if you wanna live like a high roller you can too

Yeah this is somewhat true.
Note guys that this is not the capital Prague, my home town has 100k people and industry based job market. (i.e. shit jobs).
If you want a good job, you go to Prague where flats are way more expensive and so is everything else.


So move here when you work online or plan to live from savings = yes.
Move here to work = fuck no. The average workplace in this country is shit, well behind western Europe.

Is there any live casino's where you live, just a thought, the lowest stakes 1-1 and 1-2 are kinda like 2nl and 5nl, but you earn a lot more money.
