Yawn. The Joe Rogan Podcast is the best place you can go if you love confirming your unscientific dietary beliefs. Every "expert" he'll have on is someone who promotes keto or Paleo because that's what he's into. And surprise surprise, they all have a website with something to sell too. Lesson #1 for you if you've skipped critical thinking 101: credible scientists don't have shit to sell to you.
The only knowledgeable person he has on his show who isn't completely full of shit is Dr. Rhonda Patrick. She still believes some stupid industry-funded research (Ron Krauss') but at least she's completely out of the keto cult now that she stresses the importance of eating a variety of fiber-rich whole plant foods. D'Agostino is not a credible scientist-nutritionist. The first thing you get when you go to his website are links to the bullshit he sells/affiliate links. All his interviews are with ignorant people and quacks: Mercola, Bulletproof guy, Tim Ferriss. These aren't people who will challenge his claims. It's just one big echo chamber. There are no keto experts that are "suitable for this website". Unless they are treating children with epilepsy. That's the only unbiased research on meaningful benefits of keto that can't be obtained otherwise (and it's not without side effects either). The diet research is otherwise incredibly weak. It's almost always short-term, almost always industry-funded if it shows benefits, and those benefits are almost always worse than those achieved on plant-based diets (which are sustainable to follow, whereas keto isn't).
Speaking of boring, I can't think of a more boring way to eat than keto and more boring people than ketotards. It's really no wonder why people are so fanatical about it. It's so boring that people have to hype themselves up, search for pseudo-science that confirms their beliefs and stay in an echo chamber in order stay motivated. You know your relationship with food is fucked when you feel such a need to talk about boring diet. Do us all a favor and just join a keto community if you must absolutely talk about your diet, I doubt anyone here cares.

Im fasting and very few "credible scientists" will promote it because there are no shakes, no bars, no cooking books to sell. ONLY I SAVE MONEY ON IT
And "credible scientists", if you are thinking about the official health conferences in USA a lot of the junk food companies paid good money to sell their products there. From the Coca-Cola stand "Moderation made easily".

Wait.. so if someone is super-credible its "argument from authority" and if someone is NOT credible (in your eyes) im a total idiot for listening to him ? HAHAHA... wow.... Just wow.
Again you speak against urself. This is exactly what you did against Darren Schmidt a few days ago btw
Instead of all this bullshit argument, why not just point to what exactly Agostino / Schmidt says that is wrong ? And show me the proof that they are wrong ?

You're changing the subject and your reply has nothing to do with my claim. My claim says that credible scientists aren't out to make a buck selling food products, supplements, etc. You claim that scientists can't make money from you fasting. Your claim doesn't contradict my claim.

You were implying that the experts on "my side" had products to sell... Well, at most they could sell a book about fasting. I didnt even buy the book about fasting from Jason Fung :D (maybe I will now because of you)
But again, as I showed you, you were completly wrong. I saved tons of money on my fasting strategy
And stop with those childish logic-fallacy links, they are sooo 2013

Demonstrate how he is "super-credible" and how it's just "my opinion" that he's not credible. Show me the work he's done. i.e. show me a third party, unbiased website that shows that he's a well-respected authority on matters of health and nutrition.
Instead of all this bullshit argument, why not just point to what exactly Agostino / Schmidt says that is wrong ? And show me the proof that they are wrong ?
I've already answered this a few pages ago. The amount of energy necessary to refute bullshit is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it. I value my time and I don't like to piss in the wind. I'm also not the one making any claims, why should all the work fall on me? The burden of proof is on you to demonstrate why you believe these two are nutrition pioneers that are worth being listened to despite the fact that there is a scientific consensus on matters of nutrition and it doesn't say that it's optimal to be following a ketogenic diet, quite the opposite. The consensus is that plant-based diets are ideal for long-term health and disease prevention.

How can I show someone is credible if you think its "argument from authority" to show it ?
You are impossible idiot to discuss with.
If you think someone is not credible for whatever bullshit reason you havent even given then its up to you to show that, not others to not show that. If you think everyone that has ever been on Joe Rogan show is an idiot then fine, but dont expect too many other to agree...I dont understand how this can be such a hard thing to get
WTF is this
