lol attributing the vaccine to Trump, the US response to the pandemic was abyssmal, the only thing he did right was closing the borders to China but he did it only because it suited his anti-China rethoric, not because he understood the threat of this virus.

That said, its not like the democrats would have done it better, their reaction to Trump shutting down flights from China weren't applause but calling him Xenophobic and racist, and the only reason the Dems are pro shutdowns is as a reactionary position to Trump, if Trump pushed from lockdowns from the starts the dems would be asking for freedom from these fascist authoritarian measures.


Also the vaccine by Moderna was ready since fucking March and the FDA denied emergency fast human-trial protocols, this is a triumph of science, and a miserable failure of bureaucracy and the state, responsable for the preventable deaths of millions.

Don't think it's a matter of Rep/Dem in the case of the pandemic reaction. Anyone with half a brain would've responded better than Trump.

I'll never understand why these right wing authoritarians like Trump and Bolsognaro chose to be denialist when this was the dream come true for their political alignment.. a threat to the nation that requires a strong demonstration of power and a calling for unity and patriotism... they got the V for vendetta scenario and these fools failed to capitalize on it.

I was guessing eventually Iran, Syria, Northern Africa, maybe Venezuela, or even Russia or China but of course Bread and Butter Bombs Over Baghdad makes the most sense. It's a good apertif. Maybe they can get to 95% civilian kills on drone strikes. Is the Secretary of Defense still a sitting board member of Raytheon? Did he divest anything whatsoever?

There's probably a good load of psychologists that would have a better idea, but imo its because they don't see it from that perspective but rather notice the global fear and want to protect themselves but still run their agenda they instantly blame someone else for the result and completely ignore the cause until its too late.

Its hilarious that historically the right politicians were elected to deal with tough times as they are leaning more towards conservatism which is perceived as 'strength and stability' ... and in the last few decades the right have been completely pushed out every time a crisis arises in the Western world.
