SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- There is outrage over San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin's description of the man police say pushed over and killed an 84-year-old in San Francisco. In a New York Times article, Boudin says Antoine Watson was having "some sort of temper tantrum," a term more often used to describe toddlers.

In Chinatown a shop owner witnessed a woman being attacked and robbed by a mugger. The shopkeeper grabbed his gun and fired 4 shots, scaring off the mugger. The police didn't catch the thief but they did come back to arrest the shopkeeper for intervening. Can't even make this stuff up...

I'm carefully observing this Asian lives matters thing from afar. Too early to make any opinion on this for me yet though.

lol not that simple. its really hard for me to explain how i feel about it because there are alot of moving parts.

theres no evidence that those shootings were racially motivated but the left is going with it, lol. no idea if it was or not, but clearly they just want asian ppl hating whites. the thing is, regardless of whether the actual reason this being brought forward is stupid or not, it might still end up being better than where asians were before this which is a pretty losing situation imo. hard to say really.

for example this situation with this Alexi McCammond (a black woman) i think its a hilarious thing. the left bring out this asian lives matter thing to go against whites, but really ive experienced a ton of racism from blacks in my life and in this case its working out to call this woman out. ha-ha-ha.

If you pay news media companies or content creators that meet certain conditions some $ amount per viewer on the condition that they don't advertise, you could run facebook and google out of business (or make them less evil, rather), and eliminate advertising. It's unlikely that big tech is going anywhere but it's just down to political decisions really, there's no reason to be certain that they will be around in 5 years (lol hellmuth quote that turned out to be true).

Whether or not "Asian lives matter" covers Indians or but Indians get shit on in America too.

That's not what I'm saying, but referring to the blatant hypocrisity of his statements.

The thing is a pandemic could've started from any given nation so just blaming China on it is quite stupid. It's true that they pose the highest risk due to obvious reasons and the reasons could've been prevented if the CCP wasn't a thing, but the CCP is a thing because other nations allowed them as it made financial sense for them to allow it.

It's not as simple as hurr durr China bad, we good. Western nations keep with their stupid foreign politics of going for short term goals that essentially end up falling apart in the long term

I disagree with this. It's unfortunate but the lady had to be fired IMO.

If you want to stop cancel culture, you can choose any other moment in time to do this. If you stop cancel-culture at this exact Alexi McCammond moment, what you are doing is just perpetuating the belief that it's ok to ignore racism against Asians even further. Imagine you are playing heads or tails with 2 players. For the past 1000 times player A has won and player B has lost. Do you suddenly change the system to rotating selection the moment player B finally gets the right side of the coin? The answer is no of course. As ridiculous and unfortunate as things are, IMO this lady has to be a sacrificial lamb. As a member of the Asian community, I am not Saint and I don't understand why we are expected to take the high road here after years of unfair treatment.

Update: this lady who compared Asians to house N****s is now suing the school district and her school board colleagues for $87 million for defamation and emotional distress she has received after being criticized for her racist tweets against Asians. Apparently she thinks she is immune from criticism despite being an elected public official. Makes it kind of ironic considering how much she criticizes Trump for being a racist. I guess it's more "rules for thee but not for me."

I'd just like to point out that the delusions of this lady are probably partly influenced by this new wave of leftists that have tried to reinvent the word racism to give it definitions like "only people with power can be racist." In other words, "Only white people can be racist."
