anarcho-syndicalism is a federated system. You elect delegates in the workplace, and those delegates themselves will vote with other delegates from other industries on certain policies. And the delegates can be recalled by their voters if they don't do a good job. So if exxon-mobil is affecting everyone's lives, the rest of the people in other industries would have a large say on its policy. I'm not sure what the exact best system would be but that's a general idea.

Not sure why you think any of that stuff is unfeasible since we have birth-certificates and mass data collection (voter registration) already. It's necessary to ensure fair elections and prevent voter fraud.

Yes but when you talk about "democratization" what you mean is expropiation, unless you mean build up from the ground these structures without taking the means of productions by force as our resident tankie does, if so I'm cool with it.

I think you have the wrong idea here, you are thinking of some sort of global decentralized voting, like a futuristic government and thats interesting but its not what it's been proposed, these protocols have specific tasks, for example, AAVE allow you to lend and borrow crypto, the governance token allows the holders to vote on what to financially incentivize, let's say to raise the interests in people who borrow ETH or something like that, so it's way more specific what you imagine, and what I'm talking about world-wide token distribution is simply giving X number of coins to everybody in a database, and to make a world wide database you'd need biometrics of every person in the world, which is terrifying, and those tokens would be sold to whoever wants to buy it so it wouldn't change the wealth distribution in the world.

What are you thinking regarding of decentralized voting/government is certainly a very likely scenario in a not very close future, but its certainly exciting and thats why I think crypto is exciting, people who think bitcoin will go to 0, and other coins are ponzis and NFTs are retarded scams are narrowsighted and ignorant about the subject no different than the opinions of many ppl regarding the internet in the 90s.

Pretty sure 80% of the planet has their biometrics data in their government's databases. It's a matter of time before we have a centralized one.

Pretty sure you are wrong and not thinking about world population composition.

I'm not sure what you mean by that but the majority of countries now have biometric data in your ID/Passport including India, China, Pakistan all of Europe, Australia, NA,SA, majority of Africa. 80% might be an understatement. I'm not exactly sure how border-control works when it comes to scanning those chips, but I'd assume they have the databases at least partially shared across nations that require no visa to enter. (e.g. unique database IDs to be able to validate whether or not the ID holder is legitimate). With corona we've been sharing much more information too. Not sure how much you've traveled in the past two years, but getting in some places in Europe basically requires you to share pretty much everything

I'd bet my entire net worth in the blink of an eye that the # of people in biometric databases is below 80% of the world population, certainly the # has greatly increased lately, but you underestimate how many people live in undeveloped areas where the idea of biometric data collection is ridiculous.

Also having these distributed in thousands of old, inusable or even paper is nothign comprable to having a digitalized world one at the mercy of a hack is just insanely dangerous.

Gonna be honest, when Rittenhouse took the stand and started having a fit I thought it was a really bad attempt at acting. After the verdict was read and he started having the same type of fit maybe he just has a very weird way of expressing emotions

Flash mob style looting has become a near nightly occurrence now in the Bay Area. Here's videos from 3 different cities across the Bay where people walk in, smash and grab whatever they can and then make a run for it. All 3 occurring just in the past week.

Finally some strong words from the mayor of San Francisco. When Walgreens was closing it's locations because of rampant shoplifting she scoffed at them and basically called them liars and said they are only closing locations because the market is oversaturated with pharmacies. But now when Louis Vuitton and Fendi and Burberry get hit she calls it "Unacceptable" and promises to tighten up security.

So pharmacies where people need to get their prescriptions filled closing down is no big deal, but as soon as the stores that sell $5,000 handbags get hit it becomes a problem. California progressivism, nothing to see here.

It's a cognitive trap that even Malcolm Gladwell fell for in his last book when it came to the American chick's conviction story in Italy, where she was convicted of murder and after like 10 years managed to get herself freed up and Gladwell basically ended up blaming her for not showing emotions 'correctly'

The thing is expressing emotions is the most individual and intimate thing each of us possesses. Now imagine that this already complex matter is heightened by the most extraordinary circumstances like having killed someone, having been trialed publicly, receiving new death threats every minute of his life, worrying about the future and then all the cognitive toll this takes on you. I can't put myself in his shoes, I can't even imagine it so I can't consciously have an opinion on any way he acts. When you think about it wouldn't it be weirder if he expressed his emotions the same way the majority of people do, even though he is in a 1 in a billion situation?

I'm sure we all fall for this trap quite often though, it's just a matter of being able to realize it exists

I agree with your post but it's a poor choice of words to say Gladwell "basically ended up blaming Amanda Knox for not showing emotions 'correctly.'" He blamed society and the Italian detectives/prosecutors for believing they could be human lie detectors based on what they deemed the 'correct' way to show grief was. His point was the same as yours is in your 2nd paragraph.

lol late stage capitalism

I would be delighted if we found a second part of that footage and those guys are all setting fire to the Louis Vutton items and it was in fact a symbolic robbery

ironic considering on this very page you are seen celebrating a dude who was caught celebrating with neo-fascists and doing "white power" signs after killing two people and pleading not guilty to murder and weapons charges

4 more raids on other stores all around the Bay just since I made that post. A pharmacy in Oakland, a lulu lemon and sunglass hut in San Jose and a Sam's Jewelers at a mall in Hayward.

LOLOLOL do you often escape to that fantasy world to cope? I'm sorry to burst your bubble but no, its just good old looting. And it's late-stage leftist policies, capitalism is doing fine, the progressive experiment in SF not so much.
