However i think that what is worst than being poor, is a rich becomming poor, since he was used to the perks of being rich. Humans often don't "miss" stuff they never had or never knew they needed. 200 years ago nobody was "sad" not to have electricity and plenty of people lived happy lives, but today we get quite frustrated even just 1 day whitout it.

There's some merit to your position because recently a study came out arguing that most scientific experiments can't even be replicated.
There's zero truth to how you think universities are run. In truth they are increasingly dumbing down courses and offering meaningless degrees to generate more enrollment which in turn generates profit. They have large beurocracies filled with meaningless jobs that outnumber academic staff, quite similar to corporations. Still they are great to work in because of the high level of freedom. In that regard they are quite socialist. There is also a lot defunding of the pure sciences in favour of applied ones that generate profit for industry. Academics are too busy working to care about communism. Their positions are very competitive and take a long time to get. There's too much sunk costs to risk their job over radical politics. The exceptions are the ones presented in the far right media.
I don't learn from reading, I learn from questioning things. That's how anyone learns in anything. Reading studies is a consequence of questioning claims. So is going out and asking academics about how universities work. Learning to figure out which questions are interesting and which arnt is the most important skill of any learned person imo

What kind of life experience could a sheltered kid like you have? You've never crawled out of mommy's skirt, you take no risks whatsoever, still playing low stakes in poker despite having 300k+ and staying at home with few bills to pay. Only risks you take are maybe with prostitutes and STDs. You've never had to sacrifice for anyone else, never had a relationship, never had to seriously worry about survival or came close to dying.
