It is possible to dislike crypto and the IMF at the same time.

*my position on crypto is not particularly educated so I don't have particularly strong opinions, but I have the impression that its utility varies greatly depending on where you are. In latin american countries it seems like a very useful tool against oppression, but in Norway and I assume much of the west, it's overwhelmingly used for a) speculation b) criminal activities c) some scam/ponzi scheme hybrid, and I'm not really fond of any of those three.

Crypto is very far from maturing considering people are using NFTs to project some social status via overpriced ape images and the entire community would suck anyone that shills for BTC e.g. Putin shilled BTC yesterday and the entire community suddenly was pro-Putin... even though the idea behind crypto is to completely demolish people like him. Only shows that the majority are there for the speculation and Lambos and there are very few people that give a fuck about making a change.

That mod was obviously unprepared for the interview and way out of his league... That host could've easily been counter with arguments about salaries and labor laws and he would've had to do a 'Tucker Carlson' and cut the segment

The issue is when fox host calls people 'lazy' when inherently nobody is. The reality is US is in a very bad spot labor-wise, otherwise such movements wouldn't happen, nor would events like 'The Great Resignation' happen. I've outlined the majority of the issues they have yet nobody gave a counter-argument to any of them. Working in the US sounds like a horror movie, you can get fired at any time, you can't take sick days, you don't have paid holidays, if you're a woman you better not get pregnant etc.

I've spent some time on that subreddit and the amount of horror stories people upload is amazing and somehow 99% of them are from the USA.

Apparently the worst interviews were made by a 21 year old autistic mod - not the same person from the Fox interview. The sub is imploding because of it and I think it's hilarious how all of these liberals and soc-dems are reacting. "They stole our workers' rights movement and now we're fucked!!1"

Duh thats precisely the joke, they hypociritcally align themselves in contradictory positions.

They support censorship when freedom of speech was more of a leftist value than a right wing one, aligning themselves with social media corps

They are against nuclear which is the most feasable solution to global warming aligning themselves with hydrocarbon (like Merkel).

They hate crypto despise it decentralizes finance giving common people the powers only hedge funds had, aligning themselves with the interests of big trad-fi like the IMF.

To give you perspective, it would be the equivalent of saying in the 90s that the internet's is mostly used for e-mail scam attempts and people speculating on .com bubble, crypto is world changing tech, and one of the reasons leftists should love it is because it takes the power away from financial institutions and give it back to everybody, but they hate "tech bros" so much they know as little as you do about it yet form strong contradictory opinions about it.
