You can label something as a mental disorder if you want. Generally if you want to make a lot of money, you define the mental disorder as broadly as possible, so you can sell more drugs. I'm not sure how true that is for ADHD but it was very true for things like "psychic tension".

If we examine that tweet seriously...I think the only one that can be interpreted sensibly is (2), profit is theft. If we accept living in a 0 profit world, then there has to be rent, and there has to be interest. Otherwise, people who take loans out and renting at 0 cost are profiting immensely, and we get a contradiction. The low/no profit model is consistent with free marketeers and commies alike however. Overall these slogans are stupid, and the one Proudhon made was stupid as well. It was just a slogan, not a serious proposal. Slogans are stupid by definition. A lot of property in the world is in fact obtained by theft and trickery, but you go explain those case by case instead of using slogans.

He sells it for a profit and then uses the profit to buy food and whatever else he wants. Let’s say he’s the best carpenter and people would be willing to pay $1 million for his table. So he profits approximately $1 million. So what’s the idea? That he shouldn’t be allowed to sell it for that much? Or it’s unethical to sell it for that much?

To me the most obvious flaw is how they fail to realize that risk require a reward or people obv won't take a loss/loss proposition, at least statists have that "covered" as the state work as the entrepenurial entity that takes all capital/resources risks (which leads to innovation and efficiency coming to a grinding halt) but the liberarian side of it doesnt have a working thesis for risk taking besides ridiculous claims of post-scarcity being archievable today.

I love cooking. Even more so when it's for other people than just myself though, and I prefer doing something splendid with mediocre cuts over fawning over some wagyu marbling.

As far as I'm concerned that guy is an idiot - although I also think it's fair to criticize some luxury-food-obsessed-but-other-luxury-consumption-criticizing-leftists, those people definitely exist.

The profit comes after the salary. Businesses see wages as part of the costs of doing business. So the carpenter can make no profit and still buy food, and whatever else u can get off a wage. I can't answer this hypothetical, so i'll just answer by saying that yes it is immoral since the carpenter is obviously some sort of money launderer for a crime syndacite.

Where do you find these clowns? He thinks gas cooking over induction is a "luxury hobby". What this guy should do is get a job as a waiter at a very expensive restaurant, so he can watch someone order a 5k bottle of wine and finish only half of it. So I guess what I've come to realize is that a lot of leftists are very out of touch with how truly wasteful the uber-rich can be. They really need to go back to good old fashioned "hang the bankers" mentality rather than this type of self harm.

I don't really know what he's on about in much of his tweet, but I don't care about supporting local businesses over foreigners. I'd much rather support some legit Chinese business that was struggling. Because they need it more than a local struggling business. Also, what would happen in a medium+ sized city if everyone stopped going to restaurants is your economy would collapse quite quickly. The kind of revolution that would come from that would probably be one they wouldn't really enjoy very much.

Believe it or not it was a tranding topic in leftie political twitter, these seems "post-revolution" ideations rather than implementations on our current society so I dont think its about them not knowing how wastefull the rich are or the economy without restaurants.

Many leftists see restaurants as an unnecesary luxury so they should cease to exist while another even more retarded sector of leftists think that hyper-centralization of things like eating is more equalizing and efficient, so mass communal eateries instead of homecooking is the way to build their utopia.
