Well, I'm not responding seriously to someone opening with "not unlike a turd", but had to respond in general because his timing in making points is worse than yours.

Well I suppose I too respond that way.
About the picture I think the con consensus is that its very flawed, I hope we can agree that its not accurate.
Im interested in knowing what you disagree with what I've said, I get that you disagree with Santafary Et al. I guess I can make this easier by summing up very briefly my points here:
- Immigration is an important issue especially in states that offer welfare, "diveristy is our strenght" are just cop outs and the social and economical impacts of migration need to be discussed, not shut down yelling "racist".
- Donald Trump is a megalomaniac idiot, his stance on science and climate change are awful, the defunding of PlanetParenthood also terrible, "the wall" is a waste of money and clearly he doesnt know how to handle diplomacy since he is a bully, however he is better than Hillary would have been in many fronts, for example foreign policy in the middle east and Russia etc.
- Freedom of Spech is important and under attack from regressive liberals (colleges), destroying property, setting stuff on fire, assaulting attendees in order to stop a Milo to give a speech in a University is wrong, punching a "Nazi" is wrong, legislating against people using the wrong pronoun, including it in the hate speech code so you can face penalties for calling a "she" someone who identifies himself as "ze" etc.
- The media quality is in general very poor, most hold very clear partisan preferences, there is very little journalistic integrity left and this trend is rapidly increasing given how fast they are losing market share to new forms of communication in the internet, in general no media outlet should be trusted alone, you should read various sources and keep a skeptic mind.

No we can't agree. I think its mostly accurate which is why I posted it. Again, I have no problem shifting NYT and CNN a step to the left but its really not that relevant to the graph as a whole. Yes, Breitbart isn't a fringe sight anymore, and absolutely is popular, but its also deserving of its placement. Constant conspiracy theories about liberal elites funding riots, constantly reporting on crimes by immigrants, Ann Coulter, just awful stuff being posted every day with the same narrative.
- Immigration is an important issue especially in states that offer welfare, "diveristy is our strenght" are just cop outs and the social and economical impacts of migration need to be discussed, not shut down yelling "racist".
Immigration will be a controversial issue for all eternity in basically every nation. Right now however, its reached a point where you have shameless fabrications from the highest levels. Muslims dancing in the streets, millions of illegal voters, Mexico purposefully releasing rapists, just disgusting full blown lies that can't be called anything but racist.
- Donald Trump is a megalomaniac idiot, his stance on science and climate change are awful, the defunding of PlanetParenthood also terrible, "the wall" is a waste of money and clearly he doesnt know how to handle diplomacy since he is a bully,
we agree!
however he is better than Hillary would have been in many fronts, for example foreign policy in the middle east and Russia etc.
No I don't remotely agree. Hillary would have been a better president on every issue which is why I voted for her. Donald's soft spot for Russia is a mixture of him being clueless and the fact that his administration has likely been compromised. He's again proposed we step our nuclear armament and has put forth a new budget proposal with 50 billion+ new military spending. His Iraq was opposition is something he's lied about, and despite opposing the Iraq war after a certain point, he's proudly said that since we were there we should have stolen their oil.
- Freedom of Speech is important and under attack from regressive liberals (colleges), destroying property, setting stuff on fire, assaulting attendees in order to stop a Milo to give a speech in a University is wrong, punching a "Nazi" is wrong, legislating against people using the wrong pronoun, including it in the hate speech code so you can face penalties for calling a "she" someone who identifies himself as "ze" etc.
I'm completely against violent protests as anyone should be, but as a whole with millions of people protesting in the past couple months they've been peaceful. Hate speech laws aren't even on the table in the US.
Internet news has been bringing down the average quality of news in general. Major traditional city newspapers like the NYT and WaPo are excellent sources of news as they always have been. Loss of market share isn't causing a loss in quality for them. Each paper already has differing opinions within itself, but yes its still good to diversify, just not with utter garbage.

This hate crime has nothing to do with America's incarceration problem, this hate crime has everything to do with fact it was committed in same state , not long after another racist fuck killed bunch of blacks in a church. The sentence was to deter more fuckers from believing they can do whatever they want and go crash 8 year olds birthdays with loaded shotguns screaming "kill the niggers".
I agree of course that they should be punished. I can recognize that a crime has been made. But how will you justify 19 years in jail when nobody died and noone got hurt (except of course mentally).
It's to deter others from doing + it happened not long after the church shooting, targeting blacks.
Sometimes long sentences are justified, for a good reason.
"Its to deter other from doing it", yes this is a principle even in Norway. So even a MUCH MUCH BETTER justice system than the american can be build on that without giving 19 years in prison. (Thou, I think there are some studies showing this principle is basicly worthless)
"it happened not long after the church shooting, targeting blacks". COMPLETLY IRRELEVANT. So lets say you rape someone, and the judge says "oh wait, someone else just got raped in this area in Canada, we have to make an example out of you uICK ! We will sentence you for 3 years more in prison". That would not be justice, that would be feelings. And laws should not be based on feelings, like your poker decisions should be based on logic, not feelings.
"Sometimes long sentences are justified, for a good reason" YES ! For example cases like this:
Otherwise: REHABILITATION is usually possible ! And should be the main focus

Obviously 19 years for this is retarded. But this is a country where around 1 million people are in jail for drug offenses (many of them long sentences, a whole lot of them for pot), where William James Rummel got a life sentence for what basically amounted to theft of $230 (and this was upheld by the supreme court).. So yeah, this is absolutely excessive, but the amount of american sentences I disagree with more is probably a 7 digit number.
Prison sentences for smoking pot and "Jay-walking" is worse than the case I mentioned too, i agree

firstly, jeff sessions is not a boy, secondly, jeff sessions is not my boy, jeff sessions is an adult, i am an adult, one day you'll join the club too but until then you might want to reconsider watching the news if you're only doing it in a vain attempt to smear shit in someone's face on a poker forum while drooling with your dick out, because i haven't caught any current events but wouldn't have an emotional investment in them anyway
i did see flynn got canned which just disproves all the retards who thought trump would only ever just be a puppet for whatever his cabinet was doing and not care what's going on and not be capable of being involved (like he wasted all this time and effort just to live in a smaller house)

And your "Trump firing proves..." theory is garbage since the Flynn firing was after Trump knew about connections, and the current Sessions non-firing disproves your point anyway.

What are your thoughts on the WallStreetJournal hit piece about Piewdiepie? considering they haven't printed any kind of apology or backpedaled in any way, given they didn't contact the participants before contacting sponsors do you think they remain a credible source and they uphold the values of jouranlism?
Of course Breitbart will over report on violence perpetrated by Immigrants, they lean hard on the right, the same way media from the left always prints on crime against minorities when it can, its just a reflection of their own political bias.
Immigration will be a controversial issue for all eternity in basically every nation. Right now however, its reached a point where you have shameless fabrications from the highest levels. Yes but disagreeing with the mass migration from the middle east to Europe or wanting to have tighter control with migration from Mexicans to USA and deportation from illegal immigrants doesnt make you a racist, does it?
No I don't remotely agree. Hillary would have been a better president on every issue
I think this is a very clear example of your bias, I support neither, but I can see many areas in which one would be better than the other, if you were honest with yourself you probably would notice there is something weird going on when you cant see a single one of those things.
I'm completely against violent protests as anyone should be, but as a whole with millions of people protesting in the past couple months they've been peaceful. Hate speech laws aren't even on the table in the US.
What about shutting down speech by non-violent means, for example yesterday I saw a video where a debate was gonig to be had, and the students chanted and screamed the speaker off the stage, do you think this is acceptable that since they arent breaking any laws and arent infringing upon the legal definition of freedom of speech that is good or you believe ideas should be heard and discussed civilly even if you vehemently disagree with them?
And yes speech laws isnt in the table in the US (yet and probably wont be thanks to Trump, which is one of the upsides you dont see for example), but are you for or against the censorship of what the state deems as hateful speech?

Actually I would have guessed that they would be a big majority given the age and social bracket in lp.net.
I have a random hypothesis that in a Gaussian IQ distribution the political affiliations would go from conservatives then to democrats and then it would go back to conservative prevalence

Usually the leftist are not defending the criminal/legal system in U.S, but in this thread some of them are. I guess the point is to disagree with me as much as possible :D

Don't make things up, I'm the only one who disagreed with your post, and I also didn't disagree that US criminal system is a mess, it was more direct stab at fact you specifically chose to share a debatble story (btw it's 13 years for the dude and 6 years for the chick, not "19" ; god damn I hate your mimicking the sensenationl approach of tabloids and expressing yourself it that manner)
There are infinite amount of "unjust" rulings to represent your POV of how the system is a mess (especially compared to Norway) yet you chose to make it by using the story of some dumb racist rednecks, who obviously don't deserve any attention and is not representative of the actual problems of US criminal system. Which I know little about, but it's mostly linked to "war on drugs" that is so heavily imprinted in their federal law, or whatever the whole entity is called.

Aha, so you are not really mad with me, you are mad that norwegian leftwing media Dagbladet (!) made an article about this case (over other cases). Thou, I had high hopes you would appreciate me referring to "mainstream media" over Paul Joseph Watson/alternative media.

Well excuuuuuse me...
I can see now how me typing "19 years in prison.... (13 + 6) for this american couple." must have been very confusing for you. Thinking someone would get the reference (13 + 6) was a bit too optimistic.
This is one major leak I have in live poker too. I sometimes have a full house, but I like the guy so I try to make it obvious I have full house, and still he calls with bottom pair or something.

yes
also yes
I didnt use the word radical though, not even once, I've used the word regressive-left and that is to specifically talk about people who are pro hate-speech laws, pro segregation, safe spaces and saying sharia is ok.
