No I dont think its random, its probably "Allahu Akhbar" and Jihad (Holy war) again from Islam. Its been the same for 1400 years... I make this guess based on the recent terror manual spreaded on the internet and the similarities to some of the previous terror attacks.

Clearly Assad loses the most, he is winning this war recovering control and now the US is seeking to topple him, who wins the most? Rebels and their allies, so I think its rational to assume that there is a very good chance Assad wasnt behind this and it was other reason, either an accident like Russia say or a plan from the Islamists

When I think about it USA's policy is smart on many different levels. Evil as fuck, but smart. So basically the best thing they can do now is blame the chemical attacks on Assad, blame Russia for sucking at destroying the chemical weapons, which they agreed they d do when they first went in. Meanwhile allow ISIS to fortify themselves so they can cause massive chaos in Europe/Russia. This way they gain leverage together with the pressure the USA has been putting on Europe regarding NATO's budget and defense, which will allow them heavy influence on the most developed continent while demolishing their main opponent. The only question that is left now is, what happens if they intervene in the Mid-East again, but China uses that to destroy their influence in the Asia-Pacific region
