Global Poker

Heard about some site called global poker open to US players. Seems weird to be openly advertising real money play on a US site. Probably something fishy here I'm missing. Anyone have any possible info on this place?

I love this site. I was able to cash out via paypal in less than 24 hours. It's still rolling now.

basically a wordpress site with a poker game plugin and a most likely one dude sending out withdrawals manually via paypal. once your bank flags these withdrawals this thing probably goes poof lol. for now it's too small and too infrequent with the payments that it isn't spotted by banks YET.

From my experience it's legit. At least so far. You can't really trust anything. I'd only keep a few buy ins for the stake you're playing on there at the same time. Just keep topping up if you need more.

are you sure of this? they claim to use some kind of legal loophole which sounds reasonable.

Here in Mexico blackjack used to be illegal but not bingo, so a machine would give you little bingo balls with the cards value on them instead of actual cards exploiting this loophole

AP/UB didnt recieve any legal repercussion afaik for their superusing, so they have the same incentive to avoid those things from happening, and its not a strong one so always be careful but it doesnt look like a less safe option than most tiny sites

I'm warning you people in falling for that. Anything that's able to launder money is going to get got eventually. Its either banks or some homeland security stuff or both. For trying it out I guess it's fine but unless it has the same level of government compliance as party poker or pokerstars it's never going to work.

yah I was just taking a shot. I'm trying to rebuild my bankroll. It does feel good to play again, I felt so lost the last few years. yes clearly. they lost all of the paypal (ez deposit) fish so the site went from the softest to standard.

imo for midstakes NLHE its worth it to bumhunt the 9max tables. the more stubborn regulars are less likely to sit there and often times its rarely full ring anyway and even if it is doesn't really matter that much. also there are some fish that probably prefer 9max as it is more familiar to live poker. not sure how this is for plo.

who didn't see this coming lol and i get made fun of sure go light money on fire. the only way aroudn this is some sort of crypto currency driven site if ever there's going to be some alternative. you cant be making money and breaking bank/government arrangements with bank regions who have their own agreements over how money is moved in their territories.
