Any chemists/biochemist/analytical chemist that can explain me why it takes so long for a sample to be tested? I mean just make your damn dilution and run it to the GC-MS.

A lot has changed during the last years.
You cant do nearly as much/ and as long as 5 years ago.
The roid game has become a pretty thin line bewteen having noticable benefits while having a high chance of getting caught and not getting caught but having almost no positive effects .
I believe that for the first time in UFC History fighting completely clean is almost a valid option for many of the fighters who dont have so much money. (At least it is an Option to consider)

I have seen horrible performance from fighters that got off roids too early since they were afraid of getting caught.
I believe that they probbaly had performed better at their fights without roid usage in training

I keep seeing/hearing people say in defense of Jones that everyone is on steroids but he's the only one that gets caught. I find it hard to believe that everyone is on steroids? Maybe 25-50%? What do you guys think? I rly know nothing about the industry but fk Jones

I think its very safe to say that almost everyone was on steroid before USADA.
But since USADA, a lot of people seems to clearly be off steroids. Some people that come to mind are Hendricks, Weidman, or even Pettis. But some people decided to keep taking peds, and apparently they're getting caught.

I'm guessing some people might still get away with it.

Probably a lot more than that; especially the ones who can afford it.

Before USADA for sure almost everyone was roiding. It may be quite a bit less now. Most are still roididng out of competition though. Straight testosterone in water injections are out of the body in one day. Other Esters in oil like test enanthate last longer so you can inject less often but are detectable longer. Still only on the order of days/week(s) though.

USADA performs out of competition testing though.
