Happened on the same table as the Q9o hand.
Preflop (5 handed, effective stacks 2k)
I raise QsJs in CO
BT calls
Flop (275)
Jh9h9d
I bet 183
BT calls
Turn (641)
Jh9h9d8d
I bet 320
He calls
River (1300)
Jh9h9d8d7d
I check
He bets 480
??? (1.6k remains)
He seems like a fishy reg. Regular for the games but not very sound mechanically. |

I fold, but would c/r if you were slightly deeper -- just don't think ~950 more is enough to fold out a fishy reg's flush/straight enough to justify, but could be wrong, especially if you think his betsize indicates he's way more unlikely to have a boat. I think deeper stacked would increase likelihood a small bet is non-boat, but here he could easily have one. |

The turn bet is very non-standard, it's ok against certain fishy players. you need to be good 21% of the time on river, i would call.
c/r as a bluff will get called by a ten by anyone of loose passive or fishy tendencies, so i wouldn't wanna go there. |

Seems like you beat 6 Combos (A6-2hh, 54hh). Lose to J9s (1), 99 (1), 88 (3), 98s (2), 97s (2), 65dd/65hh (2), AT/KT (4), T9s (2), QTs (3), T7s (3), T8s (3), QTo? That's 26 + whatever QTo he has, could be quite a bit live. If he flats TT pre that's more, but could 3bet 99 pre? I'd guess he flats 99 3bets TT though. That's 26 + whatever QTo. Seems like a slightly -EV call based on that, and I'd ignore hands turned into a bluff, cause it's probably about 80% the hands he does turn into a bluff are AJ KJ over stuff like 87, and seems very unlikely he double floated with a hand like KQo. Add in random value bets with hands like A9 K9 and I think fold > call.

Id actually like to get super deep into some of these hands but maybe not on LP because I think the conversation should be fluid.
Daut, if you are interested add me on skype wobbly_au.
Back to this hand.
Given this site only has around 10 seconds to decide, I decided to call but it was obviously a crying call, hoping for the AXhh or 66 78 types of hands I lost to QJdd.
I think river as played can be both a call and a fold depending on villain and I didnt have many reads going into the hand. I think most of the discussion should be around the turn.
Options
1. Bet 60-70%
2. Bet 50%
3. Check
I think daut's hand range isn't super accurate because I think 9X and JJ almost always 3bets the flop, I actually think getting to the turn my hand is ahead of his range but behind his calling range if I were to bet 70%. I didn't want to c/c turn because my hand doesnt really improve much, I also dont know if he would bluff hearts on the turn, but I do know if I bet 50% he calls hearts. |

yeah it's probably close, not sure why im commenting on this hand actually since I havn't been given preflop stats, which are available on this app and typically they play pretty loose in these games. |
