Still i am surprised how Romero is not banned for steroid abuse (Cant say too much but i trained with him many years ago ....)
You used to be on steroids?
No
But a lot of guys on my team were (He was not on my team btw.. just trained with him a few times)
Well its difficult to talk about that stuff when someone is still active.

It's surprising to me that Romero opened as a favorite over Rockhold. I think that Rockhold's game is built to beat Romero over 5 rounds fairly handily so long as he doesn't make a mistake early.

no way Romero goes 5 rounds against Rockhold, he will maul him in the ground in the latter rounds.

My favorite bet in the Romero/Rockhold fight is Over 1.5 rounds. It opened at -165 and is currently -172.

Teruto Ishihara (135.5) vs. Jose Alberto Quinonez (135)

Only a few spots left, so I'd suggest reserving your spot now and creating the team after weigh-ins, or any time before the first fight starts.

3 pounds to lose for Yoel. He will look like death for sure.

Romero went back and tried to cut more weight. He went from 188.3 to 187.7 pounds.
Either way, the winner of this fight will fight Whittaker for the real belt. The only negative thing that happens to Romero is that he loses 20-30% of his money, which goes to Rockhold.
Edit: According to the FS1 broadcast, less than three pounds over the limit meant he only gives up 20% of his purse, while more than 3 pounds over the 185 pound championship limit meant he has to give up 30% of his purse.

Well Romero has a walking weight of about 218 pounds being pretty ripped, too
Not so easy to cut down to 185 "on relativly "short notice.
He normaly cuts down within ~4 weeks and now he only had 3 weeks.

Is it ever prudent to bet both the main eventers on draft kings? I think this maybe a war that goes to decision.
Are chicks not allowed to fight in Australia?

Romero is a wrestler who throws low volume strikes, and his cardio sucks. This fight could go to a decision, but it won't be a war.
What I meant was in Draft kings format does it ever make sense to take them both if I believe it will go to a decision.

If you put Romero and Rockhold in the same DraftKings team, it would be called stacking.
Stacking is popular in cash games, but not tournaments. Since you need all 6 of your fighters to win on DK, stacking in a large tournament means you automatically have 1 loser on your team.
Both Romero and Rockhold would have to score a lot of points for your stack to have a chance at doing scoring a lot of points in a large DK tournament. This isn't the right UFC card to stack the main event.
