Yep.
O'Malley would've been unable to continue due to injury, which results in a TKO loss. Soukhamthath's corner was yelling at him to get up, but he didn't listen.
Jon Jones almost lost his title to Chael Sonnen when his toe broke and almost fell off. Nobody noticed it until Joe Rogan went to interview Jones. It would've been a TKO loss for Jones if the referee saw it before Jones finished Sonnen.

yes a TKO (injury) result is awarded.
Unless the injury comes from a headbutt or something accidental/against the rules, then a no-contest is given as result
