By the way, I will be flying out to Vegas for this event. If any of you plan to be there, let me know.
I met up with a couple of MMA bettors from Sherdog when I was in Vegas for UFC 245. It was fun to break down fights and sweat the fights together.

that poster is not kind to Cerrone at all
also... welterweight fight, da fuck?
I'd normally say McGregor takes this, but I honestly don;t see him having the motivation anymore. No idea why he s back, he s made millions and accomplished his goals, I wouldn't feel too confident about him, while Cerrone legitimately just loves fighting

- Cowboy loves to fight.
- Conor has made millions, and the only reason why he would return is because he, too, loves to fight.
- Both of these guys are natural 155ers, so it makes sense for both of them not to cut weight and fight at 170 instead. That being said, Cowboy is better at 170 than 155.

My best guess is that his new venture (Proper 12) is an extremely capital intensive business, and without his checks and free marketing via the UFC, this venture becomes unfeasible.

Going to enjoy the fight regardless.. should be a fun one
Don't think he has as huge negotiation weigh nowadays though after Khabib smacked his ass and him being away for practically 3 years (excluding the Khabib fight)

You should meet me in Vegas for this card. You will be able to get +100 or better on Grasso's money line on fight day.

enlighten me.
You essentially said that Grasso beats Claudia.
If you feel really strong about Grasso beating Claudia, then you should go to Las Vegas and place a big bet on Grasso over Claudia, as Grasso's money line will be at least +100 on fight day.
I will be in Las Vegas for this card, so if you want to meet up with me and a couple of other guys I know from Sherdog, you can chill with us and watch + bet on the fights while we eat and drink.

I might be out there to sweat the fights, if I am I will let you guys know.
I imagine McGregor by 1st round finish is the favored result (-105 or more)

Ehh they are both counter-strikers and both like to establish their range, McGregor won't have a size advantage ... and even if he does he's not going to be much bigger, so he can't come out and be too overly aggressive right off the bat

Like Holm and Gadelha odds. I think Holly just matches up really well vs Pennington and would win 8 of 10 even though the actual overall skill difference isn't that much. But I've been pretty bad recently so Raquel probably wins
Barber is a -1000 favorite. Haven't seen that in MMA in awhile. Probably justified
Conor within 2 if he's in form

i actually thought the fight would be a lot closer than what people were speculating, something along the lines of 60/40 in favor of conor. then i rewatched cowboys recent fights since they were uploaded to youtube and immediately changed my mind.
i still think donald is probably the value bet but fuck i'd hate betting on him. i can see him winning if it somehow ends up on the ground early, like the olivera and perry fights
conor > cowboy
holm > pennington
grasso > gadelha
ferreira > pettis
barber > roxy
gastelum jr > dober
not sure what it is but something about macey barber makes me not like her; she'll probably cruise to a title shot then get demolished by valentina.

Conor's worst enemy is cardio. The man could fight Henry Cejudo and lose in 5 rounds. If Conor had 5 good rounds in his tank he can beat anyone and everyone in LW, could probably be WW champion even. If his cardio is much worse now because of the layoff, he'll be having a tough time getting the FW belt
