I never got into crypto, but it seems like the only people who were making money were the people who got in 3+ years ago. Many people who got in after it started to drop from its peak of $60k+ seem to be the big losers now.

It would be pretty fucked up if bitcoin ever went above $100k, given that the price is correlated with energy use for mining it. Mining of bitcoin has already caused tens of thousands of premature deaths from air pollution alone, not to mention it's contributions to climate change. My guess is society wouldn't stand for it, but society let it get it $60k so who knows maybe people don't give a fuck about the environment.

I've seen environmentalists promote Ethereum as its used for trading energy in localized grids or something. Not sure what the full story is there though.

I still think it should reverse around this region to a new low. We are currrently hitting high time frame prices into resistance
Sentiment is very bullish now and we did go up fast and feds printing again
If it breaks 31 and stays within that upper part it could easily move back to 45ish.

Anyhow next two weeks should be key.
People i respect the most in field are bearish and few while i see a ton of bullishness in rest of field.

The recent inflation is to a large extent resulting from supply side. It's coming from Russia's war, covid (maybe not so much anymore), and potentially energy cartel practices. It won't last unless such disasters keep occuring.

You can control high demand side inflation by taxing rich people instead of raising interest rates. The current system uses monetary methods to control inflation because of political preferences.
