That's not an argument, you are just presenting a conclusion and failing to support the conclusion with an argument.

The meaning of the green star means something like "special/highly valued contributor". Whether or not the site is popular and there are new people coming or not does not alter its meaning. This site has plenty of retards who are not valued contributors and giving them a green star is like removing a green star's meaning and turning it into a participation trophy.
