If anyone on LP knew bitcoin was going to rise over $50 per coin, back when it was $5 or w/e, they woulda dumped a shit ton of money into it. That isn't what happened, people put a small amount of money into it as a longshot, because they didn't know what would happen to the price. This has been a gamble from the beginning, otherwise people would have made a sound investment strategy to buy thousands of bitcoins.
