I wake up early to get to the bar early. It is the day of the fabled Ohio State Buckeyes versus Michigan Wolverines College Football Game. I run an experiment and wear all black with a dark green hat with a sad cougar on it that my mom got at the Flagstaff Arizona National Park. I don't have any Ohio State clothing and don't particular support them even though they are my Alma Mater. We get there early to hold seats. Some lady in charge of the Ohio State Alumni group wants us to do networking tasks. Basically, everyone entering has Ohio State gear on. It is an Ohio State backers bar afterall. Some people during the networking cheese ask if I am a Michigan fan. The place gets packed. Standing room only. I am not very excitable. I feel weird in that I don't cheer. I won't turn down high fives or anything like that but I just sit. It is like life and death for some of these people in the bar. It gets worse as people get more drunk. I mean I don't mind the energy. What if we took that community and energy to an activist event. On the other side of the coin, thank goodness we did not take that energy to go after a black man and lynch him. Bodies are bodies. Bodies are awkward and many times let us down especially as we get older. There is something to be said about the beauty of an athlete in their prime performing at an elite level. Even given all of this College Football just does not excite me so much. It was a close game the whole game and Ohio State Buckeyes had a chance to win it in the end but they could not do it and so they lost the big rivalry game. I was not particularly that sad and just went on with my day.

I think it's impossible for me to manufacture Team Spirit.

I'm sure it's more fun to yell and cheer and put your hand up in the air at every 8 yard gain.

Maybe this is what I am talking about being a stoic versus the aliveness of existential passionista.

My therapist brought up a good point about stoics. They seem to let things build up and build up and that is not healthy either. I don't know if that's true. Even so it might be true of me which is the point she was making. Where does it all go that is building and building? A stoic cannot not just hold everything or convert everything to nothing or can they? I am not sure if I can do that. Watching an Ohio State University Football Game I can more or less do it only because I'm more or less unperturbed. I want Ohio State to win because people around me will be happy and I try to feel something more in these situations. I generally feel more than nothing but maybe it's so close to nothing it may as well be nothing. Well, it's a part of life that generally follows the rest of my life. I don't want to be a nihilist but I don't know how I get out of being a nihilist. Also, I realize I am not a full blown nihilist so perhaps call it nihilist lite. I do think there can be meaning in life although I don't know what that is. Although, I do reject all religious and moral guidelines. I think I would be better off if I was grounded in something like a meaning(s) of life. Ohio State University Football isn't it.

I feel like there is a new show out now that people might like. The show is called A Murder At The End Of The World. It is a Brit Marling joint. Some may know that name from The OA. I don't know yet which one I like more but The OA was stupidly cancelled by Netflix. Now, Brit brings her new show to HULU and besides maybe some bad acting here and there I am really enjoying it. I would have watched it all by now but I can't because the next episodes does not come out until Dec 5 and Dec 12 respectively.

I am pretty picky with tv shows but if anyone has some suggestions I would be interested in that too. Tv shows / movies make the day go by faster than just reading and going on walks. Also, I don't want to go back to Classic WoW even with the recent updates. I'm trying to stay away from doing that.

I tried to watch that show but it was too... current. I can't handle many shows that are made nowadays. It's either some feminist nonsense or then it's some over the top macho cringe fest like Reacher or Tulsa King. Bring early 2000's back.

It's not complicated. Write what you want > find a file with a lot of downloads/seeders, check the comments to make sure everything's legit. Usually there are instructions, but you don't need them, the installation process if pretty straight-forward, and often has an option to copy the crack automatically in the game folder. Otherwise, Google is your friend.

I am watching it too just because it was made by Brit (and she acts in it) but I'm thoroughly disappointed. The plot is so thin, the "tech billionaire will save us" trope is overdone and we need less of it. Of course she ends up marrying the guy and having children with him, she's friends with Grimes and puts her music in the show, no coincidence. It's like Brit covertly admitting she's jealous and would like to bone Elon, ew.

Do people actually know why men serial killers mostly kill women? Is that piece of information even true?

I will defend the use of Genesis in that scene because I thought it fit perfectly and anyways, I like Visions Grimes.

I meant that Brit's character is married to the billionaire in the show. This is known very early on, so I didn't think it was a spoiler. It makes 0 sense considering her background, a cool elite hacker girl would want to take a shit on a billionaire. Also it's claimed earlier on that people don't know where she is, she disappeared herself, but you can bet people would know if she was married to the world's greatest billionaire, there's no way that could be kept a secret. I think Genesis is a great song but it was an odd placement, it didn't really fit. It's like this whole show was thought up by Grimes herself.

I thought you meant Darby gets married to Andy and has a bunch of kids. Brit's character Lee being married to Andy makes 0 sense too.

It was the genesis of the retreat and the song has a xanax'y / ambien'y feel to it. The good feeling of a druggy reverie is countered by the nightmare.

Speaking of Grimes I happened to see that debate on the sexual revolution hosted by Bari Weiss. When you are unemployed you tend to watch things like that. It wasn't great but Anna Kachiyan was amusing. I keep meaning to watch some podcasts with her. Grimes was out of her mind yet she kept getting the most cheers.
