It feels like an intermission in my life. I changed houses again and now I am staying with my sister. My parents are hogging the tv and I am in different surroundings listening to Hermanos Gutierrez. Really good shit. They are from Ecuador and use late 1950s guitars and old amps and pedals and shit and get a really good sound. I was wondering what I was going to write about. I don't know if I am in the mood for self-reflection. My sister's place is really cool. I don't know if I want to bring up my brother or sister-in-law who were kind of pissing me off. I could share on here but I think the best thing to do is to let it go. I am out of their house. I'll let it go or at least try.
My sister let her guitar go to shit so I am going to take it in to get fixed tomorrow so I can get some playing in.
Ok, cool, the tv is open. I might binge 2nd season of The White Lotus tonight.

People usually go to the bathroom, grab a drink, have a smoke among other activities during intermission.

How do you feel about moving in with your sister at your age?
How long will you stay with her?

I do stay with my parents though which has positives and negatives.

Home Again
Today was a bit of a grind. I had to take care of all of the stuff that had not been taken care of when I was away for 10 days. I drank too many energy drinks. I found time to read my new novel. Novel to novel to novel to novel. I'm trying to enjoy it while I can. I found time to watch the rest of A Murder at the End of the World. I won't say that it is great but there are definitely some twists and turns from what it appears earlier on.
I am doing my best to almost relish the rest of this holiday season. It is only a matter of time before I must go back to the undesirable state of employment. Besides having only so much money to weather the storm and in my parents' home I do have a fair amout of freedom.

My mind is occupied to what I want it to be occupied and since it is mostly occupied with books and walking there is no degradation. It is the opposite state. I almost have to prepare for greiving the loss of unemployment although unemployment is not great either. Que up the Ryan Gosling "Having a job vs Not having a job" meme. There are expectations that I have to navigate through though and the ability to go to sleep when I want, wake up when I want, have a casual slow breakfast, and basically do what I want at my leisure. I'd rather be bored than busy. I'd rather be under-scheduled than over-scheduled but it is inevitable that I will need a job and it is prudent to get one without burning too many of my assets. It leaves me more options and more freedom. There is a million things I can do at this point but as soon as I pick an occupation for 40 hours a week that drastically limits my options so I better pick well.

that's a pretty funny quote from a guy who owned slaves.

Wasn't Camus the only chad philosopher who swam in pussy? I remember something like that.
Sartre had de Beuvoir and their sexcapades. Heidegger slept with his students. There would probably be more stories if people cared about philosophy which they don't. I was in a Barnes and Noble the other day and the place had one tiny book case for philosophy. I imagine also many partnered up instead of staying single. Whether they took on mistresses or not I don't really know.

It's pretty clear to me that Baudrillard despite being a short, fat, bald guy slayed. Derrida slayed. Foucault was getting ass fucked to his delight.
That is just 3 more examples.
Nothing like strong leader Castro or Ye or Leo that one actor who listens to MGMT on noise cancelling headphones and vapes during sex.
