Happy holidays

I actually think a small site of 10-12 posters could be a lot of fun / of value. This site gets close sometimes or maybe I am just being delusional. I think if the number was 10-12 active posters and the topics were right this could be a cool site. The problem is we rarely get that many posters active at once and there is rarely anything to talk about. We were probably closest when it was like Loco and drone versus the right wing retards but I wouldn't want to go back to something like that. Loco probably rightly pinpointed LP's Golden Age to milkman staying in a closet for money.

We're all here, but some of us are enjoying the holidays.

I'm on Day 2 of my winter vacation. All I've been doing is sleeping a lot, watching sports, and eating. Great times.

No UFC until January 13, so NFL and NBA is filling the void. I sold my ticket to the 49ers vs. Ravens game for $725 after I paid $225 for it.

Being unemployed I would like LP to be more active. I never really stick anywhere on Reddit. Most of my posts are probably the same advice over and over to people struggling with Bipolar. I have a lurker account on Twitter. That's like 100 to 1 noise to signal if not worse. I've never been on Tik Tok. Always seemed like a modern day hellscape to me. I am glad that you are here.

meet some new friends like me, but I still have so much free time and thanks for the recommendation on books. I'm gonna start reading some, what else books u recommend? I have so much free time it kinda is bad but I don't want a shit job when I have enough money to live. maybe play some poker like me to pass the time n make a couple of bucks? are you a winning poker play still? PA PokerStars is a joke compare to GGpoker.

We just need to find stuff to talk about. Depends on chemistry maybe there is nothing we want to talk about. Or at least enough to actually get out and post more consistently in good spirits. Although I think most people would frown on internet posting. It is a necessary evil for me without employment and even with employment.

I don't know what books to recommend. Do you like non-fiction, fiction, biographies?

In that post I just mentioned the Napolean movie was trash. That does not mean you would like to read a 900 page biography on Napolean instead.

We are in similar boats. It's like we could choose literally 1 thousand things but as soon as we pick that 1 thing that is what we will be spending most of our time on. So, we have to pick right.

I'm done with poker. There is no future there. I don't even think I could play with friends b/c I'd want to get a solver and figure out all the spots at like a .25/.5 friendly game.

Yea if poker isn’t for u anymore then don’t play cuz it’s hard to win now unless u live in PA. Ggpoker is tough as heck. i don’t know about ur finances but PA is soft I could make 10x more on PA then in ggpoker. I see the stuff neilly deals with n u never see that on ggpoker

I have learnt so much these years I don’t know what else to learn, next thing I want to learn is fishing good.
