Still needs a lot of work but I thought this was a fun one. My parents come home on Sunday. The likelihood is I won't finish it before then but I guess it's fine on the shelf and it got me high for a few hours. Painting is a hobby that I really love it's a shame I don't have a small studio somewhere and a coach to push me forward. Well, actually, one of my best friends is a painter, art history expert, teacher so that helps but he is in a different state.

Whatever, it is clear the answer is people. My therapist asked me the other day what am I looking forward to in the future. I had nothing to say. But, then, day in and day out I don't go down to the local AA meeting. Maybe because I have been to those AA meetings and was unsatisfied. This has been a problem for almost 8 years. I get stuck in my loner ways but I am not brewing anything beautiful. It's more exceptional if I was writing The World as Will and Representation. Instead I am writing this whiny blog post and I never know if it is doing any good which it probably isn't since I would know if it were doing good. I suppose I keep my sanity somewhat as I am trapped in this house not by any barriers but my own reclusivity.

I would like to have a chat about the social safety netters vs the let them eat cakers and how we have like 11-22 million illegals roaming around somewhere in this country and what in the hell do you do about a think like that?

I'm not a total pussy and I finished it but I fucked it up beyond repair. Sometimes that happens.

Like Stroggoz says though the world adopting a Norwegian emissions per capita level that would fuck everyone over pretty hard, but if they also adopted our inhabitants per square kilometer ratio, it wouldn't be problematic at all. Getting there is kinda unfeasible though.

It's crazy to think a thousand dollars spent on luxury goods or put into the stock market goes further than giving to people who need food.

Some of the degrowthers put forth pretty decent and feasible proposals imo. I doubt poor countries want to copy half of what the west did. Things like sprawling highways, mass consumerism and such are not something to be envious of. Ofc the leaders in those countries think it is sadly. A very small amount of democracy would go a long way to preventing environmental collapse.

Hair is fucked beyond repair. I need to get better at hair. I did like 4 different hairstyles and I didn't like any of them so tilt threw a bunch of yellow paint on there and that's what happened. I said it takes guts to finish but all I really did is slop it up mixing 2 more purples and then calling it a day. "Eyes are up here thank you" cracks me up so at least there is that. It's kind of a gangster painting. I don't hate it.
