Yeah, I just watched their vid on Economics 101. Good stuff. It seems like people just find 1 way in Econ and latch onto that and everything else is heresy. It's really weird. It's eye opening that there are different ways then my Baltic professor there for research droning on for an hour about complete bullshit. Then they have the gall to act like it's Math. There are time constraints. I don't have the time to learn this shit anymore, so unless this is ur whole life like this guy, you gotta pick a few schools of thought and go with it. People should be guided by reading about what they think they will learn the most from.

Yeah the whole math thing it's called physics envy. It's very rare that advanced math is useful for explaining economics. Just question assumptions and recognize the complexity of it all, and ur less wrong than most. Some basic math is good but if ur bringing topology into it, it's to give meaning to an empty life or feel smart and important.

Professorship is what you get after a PhD plus 3 or 4 post doctoral positions. If he didn't have a PhD then he certainly did not have a professorship.

Pretty much anyone with a degree can do that. There's nothing wrong with being a TA though. Most TA are very bright people. So he basically is on the same level of formal education as AOC. They have completely opposite views. That tells me that humility is what's required to be a good economist.

My three fav economists are bill mitchell, marriana mazzucato and ha joon chang. Bill mitchell writes blog posts almost every single day. He's built a reputation as an honest economist over the years, definitely made me question a lot of my own dogmas when I started reading his work.

I don't have a problem with TAs. I have a problem that Milei is branded as a Professor of Economics. His book "Pandanomics" the 2nd chapter is 96.6% plagarised. They literally copy and pasted and then inserted some extra words.

You can get thru university by doing fuck all and plaguerizing if power supports you. President Obamas educational background is pretty similar to millei for example. It feels like since I wrote some this morning I can just call in the day but a lot of the time my best writing comes at night before I go to sleep. I thinking I am partially blocking myself as I feel like being lazy but it's more than that. The book is going into a direction I'm not sure I like and I am having struggles bringing it back and keeping it exciting. Fresh, new, provacative nigga. I might have to make some drastic moves.... Painting is the same. I have nothing I want to paint. I also have to go to the store and get more supplies but that is a chicken shit excuse even if I'm poor.

Guitar is all about blues solos this week. That has been fun. Kind of running out of steam though.

So, I am not in the best spot creatively. Although, my output over the weekend and earler in the week was pretty substantial so I am not going to be doing great work all the time but I think if I keep showing up I'll be in good shape.

Snuck some good writing in.... now I don't know how to follow that. Writing a novel is exhausting.
