im done and need job

Well I am the latest to quit I guess, after restarting in 2021. I made like, 120k in 2021 - just absolutely insane crushing I started with like $200 and ended the year with like a $125 hourly. 2022 I played much less but still made like 60k. 2023 I was more of a homemaker, took care of property and daughter, wife did her attorney stuff. But when I did play, I didn't win.

2024 = divorce. horrible. ex wife is not a good person I discovered. total fraud narcissist liar, and it's been a disturbing and horrible experience. she broke me financially. when I finally managed to build up some money (sold house), I went back to poker, still can't win. it feels rigged but it's probably just the dark side of variance. but I can't do it anymore.

so, I give up! Now I am on the job hunt! I have faith there is a new path I am being pushed towards. At least I have a CS degree, but damn if it isn't tough when you're 40 with very little work experience..

Yeah, it'll likely be tough. Depending on where you live and how much child support costs, you might need to move out of the area/state.

Good luck getting back on your feet. Stay focused like you were when you were winning at poker and you'll eventually find somewhere good to work.
