Muhweli's problem is that he tilts MASSIVELY whenever he loses a few big pots. That's his major leak. He can't handle the emotions when playing poker : p

Hey but GL Sami~ : )

thing about starting over is u should be able to rebuild much quicker.
i dont think this is a bad idea at all. although maybe the better choice would have been to have a 2k bankroll and stay at 25NL or something.

ive lost as much as you did muh or maybe even more in 2 weeks. I can't tell you how much i feel you, i should of done what you just did tho cash out and start over instead of lose it all and start over.

fuck I should just sell some of my Pokemon cards, if no one stakes that is what I will have to do - lostaccountLast edit: 01/03/2006 14:48

Yea but you played too high Loco ;P And it's not that much about how much I lost but I haven't gotten up with my roll in ages. Like erwin said, I have "break downs" every now and then when I lose few big pots, since I haven't yet learned to take a break after that ^^

But anyway I think this is a good idea and I think rebuilding will be much faster anyway than it was the first time. I expect to be back at Nl50 in a month ;P

Muhweli, you are a mystery to me.

When I first took up poker seriously after WCG I read your blog from time to time and really admired your atttitude toward poker. Writing down your thoughts about many hands, analysises in Pokertracker, consistent bankroll management, many live events - dedication. I really thought you would be in NL400 by now.

But for some strange reason I see something is blocking you from moving up fast, I don't know what it is and how to define it, but maybe it's indeed what Twisted said (whenever I see your hands posted here it's mostly sick beats). Whatever it is I recently noticed that your are lacking something for the moment. Perhaps it's confidence, some sort of tenacity?

I'm not too crazy about the 2k cashout, but I'm happy you won't give up.

Peace of mind cant be bought.

seems like i will have to follow ur path soon muhweli. 16 buyins down is just way too much for me

there is a light at the end of the tunnel... (but sometimes the tunnel is long and deep as hell)

16 buyins ? holy shit Joe.... thats much.have to move down now ? ;(

Sad to see that it went so far Muhweli, but i have confidence that you will be back fast again. See it this way : at least u made 2K$ that you have safe now and can spend for anything you like. And i bet you will be crushing these microlimits very hard now so that you get your confidence back and soon be ready to start again where you stopped.

I enjoyed Muhweli's blog when I was starting as well, I looked up to him cause he seemed to be doing real well for a beginner. He also helped me out with a few PM exchanges over @ teamliquid, best of luck Mr.Muhweli sorry to see you struggling

Everybody goes through moments of intense shit.

Ive been through it, many people here have been through it, and some have been through it worse than others.

Cashing out everything is just unreasonable, put it all back, suck it up, and continue playing at lower limits until you rebuild.

Muhweli   Finland. Mar 01 2006 18:13. Posts 10663

Seriously though, I'll be back at NL50 in a month or so. I don't take pressure of it. I agree some might think it's unreasonable.

Oh and Tomson, I think twisted prolly is right. My biggest problem is the blowups that cost me too much every now and then. But I haven't been running good lately. When I picked up NL first time, I had huuuge run. And by huge I mean really good. And it's been evening out at late.

The thing why I think I havent advanced beyond and permanently to NL100 is because there money starts to feel like money. I know i should develop a total disregard for it but the sums start to be biggish and I haven't gotten used to losing $100+ in one hand just yet. So when I do, preferably a few times in a row, I start playing worse aka tilting.

Anyway, gimme month or two and i'll be back at NL50, month from there, NL100!!! I hope. :D

at least you have a roll to work with right? and always get something to break when you get pissed. That's the korean way of letting the steam out so you don't steam away another buyin or so.
