Luckily I'm not down that much ;D The thing is I haven't progressed all the swings seem to be downwards. ^^
This will build me as a player and as a person for sure. And I never ever touch limit again ;D At least not before I am rolled to lose a few k while learning. |

I've found that leaks can be huge even when you think you are doing everything perfectly. And many players do. You need to be extremely self critical, say "Yeah, I played this wrong an that wrong" to yourself on a daily basis. If you aren't, you're definitely fooling yourself. There is a ton more improvements to be made to your play, and you'll discover their nature in due time. Clicks faster with some, slower with others. I think luck has a lot to do with this. Some eople are lucky to have stubmled upon a method that works before others. Others find 1000 ways how not to make a lightbulb first.

Poker is wonderful. Seriously. It is. It is great. All you need to do is put your money in when you have from 1 to 4 outs and you're fine. I have hard time believing but it works for everyone, especially in the microtables! I will never play poker again. |

myabe this just a loser talking, but I don't think that anyone deserves it, if they are playing correctly, the real question is if they can handle it. |

Its not a question of whether or not you deserve it, its a question of when it will happen and how long. Which is up to variance to decide.
Its totally inevitable and will happen to everyone.
Saying you don't deserve it is just ludicrous, its a part of the game. |

I don't understand the way you guys play NL. I think u lost it on tilt.
I've made about 60k hands on .5/1 NL and 17k on 1/2 NL this year. (8 tabling) I was down 600-700$ in only one session in 2 month period, but recovered it in the same day.
As a limit player mostly, once I lost 4,5k in one month at 5/10 and 10/20 (that was 4/5 of my whole br) and thats why now I play OVEROVEROVERrolled.
I know that poker is the ONLY thing to make enough money that's why I'll never stop. I found Muhweli's decision real stupid.

i lost that money experimenting new things though it was not in vein. thats preety much what i did at those stakes i wanted to learn how to play this game properly regardless of cost. its not like i was taking a lot of bad beats i just tried doing new things like bluffing/limping in with random trash/pushing with random cards etc... after i figured it out i made it back and more in a heartbeat. |

It was Gigabet I think. Or at least Gigabet commented on this saying "this is more true than most people think". And sure, everyone does deserve it. ^^ |

I was under the impression Gigabet didnt actually write that for some reason (I think I saw another indentically named article of the same name before I read Gigabet's post). That was definately a very very good article.
Here it is if you haven't read it. |

No, GigaBet wrote it. Scott Fischman had it published as a guest article under his name in Cardplayer magazine, if that's what you're thinking of. |
