First of all please stop posting pictures out of provocation. I don't want this to be a website where someone comes to the ROFL thread and all we look like is a bunch of racists/nazis. Imagine if this would be your company and how you would feel about your community being represented like that.

I'll try to explain my views on the situation. On Liquidpoker there is a line on what is appropriate and what isn't. I consider the moderation on LP to be very lenient, but there is still a limit. This upper limit of what we find acceptable is not going to change. Our moderation is no harsher than it has been before; you have all been part of this website for a long time. I would bet my life that moderation is a lot more lenient now than it was when you all joined. You all know our values of moderation. You have all known about them, and at some point have made a conscious decision to be part of that.

Posting pictures of Breivik with the text you only live once goes beyond what we consider appropriate. I understand that for some of you it is not an issue if anything goes, but you are not me and you are also not finding yourself in a position where you need to make decisions on what works for everyone. It is fine to have different opinions about this because nobody is the same, but please understand that this how we want to run this website, and it is nothing new to you.

If you would be so kind and enjoy LP the way it was meant to be enjoyed without all the drama it would be appreciated.

I just tried to explain why I don't think it is ridiculous so I can't help you any more than that. We have a different perspective on what should be ok and what shouldn't be.

It is your choice to be part of this website, but these are policies based on values that have been in place for as long as it exists, and it is your choice to come here to be part of that.

and then do the most ridiculous things with them and have them to act like it's fine.

Nazgul, i agree that the YOLO pictures could very well be over the line, but the main problem in my view is that why wasnt it enough to either remove the pictures/give byrnesam a warning/both of these options? Now the banhammer was instantly used on one of the most active and appreciated (when it comes to rofls, maybe not pokerwise) users on this forum. If the mods keep treating these important members like trash there is a risk they will leave/be less active on this forum?

So yes remove the YOLO pictures, but why wasnt a warning enough?

Except the snow didnt insulate him. He froze up almost completely solid.
