His mistake was not investing in any training. This kid walked into a store, bought a taser and thought he was good to go. I am investing heavily in proper self-defense techniques, such as obtaining my concealed carry license, classroom training on situational awareness, threat recognition, combat mindset, after action considerations, "rules of engagement", etc. Anyone properly trained to understand firearms and what they mean will never end up in a situation whereby they are more of a threat to themselves. Every day people get attacked unprovoked in this world. When you're older you'll understand.
I didnt buy a gun because some asshole pissed me off. I bought one because a random person threatened my life for over 10 minutes at a high rate of speed, whom could have run me off the road sending me careening into tree's or other traffic. I didnt mention it at the time but there were several other instances in which I was sorely unprepared for a possible attack in my life, all of which I feel lucky to have walked away from unscathed. I dont want to just be "lucky" anymore.
The highway case is total BS, couldn't you slow down, and stop the car on the side of the road for 5min and then continue without seeing that guy for the rest of your life? Buying a gun for situations that can be easily avoided like that is just retarded. But some people think it reduces the size of their penis if they walk out of a fight. Thankfully many of those people end-up dead or in jail. Evolution at work.
Last response in the ROFL thread, but FYI anyone from law enforcement to general self-defense practitioners will tell you NEVER pull over to the side of the road. Keep your advantage as long as you can, in this case being in front of him and deciding where to go. As I had mentioned I was running out of road though. A firearm allows me to stay safe if he takes it to the next level, such as getting out of his car while I am trapped in traffic.

what happened to our rofl thread ffs. Good point by capaneo tho. Ive never lived in the US so I dont know how dangerous it is there but Id be surprised if it was worse than down here. The only thing u need to avoid 90% of risky situations is just the proper behavior. And that sometimes involves puttin your ego aside.

Absolutely, and I'm only looking to avoid that other 10%. But some people wont stop, and dont care if you bow down and walk away. In those situations, I will not be a victim. Guys like Zimmerman are wannabe soldiers. They yearn for the day they can put themselves to the test. I on the otherhand hope to never have to reach for my gun in my life. Zimmerman pursued an individual and considered his weapon a safety net should things not go as planned. This is class-A typical bullshit from firearm owners. My gun is nothing more to me than the airbag is in my car. An invisible safety device deployed only an absolute emergency. Otherwise, you'd never even know it's there.
bye now

Since its the ROFL thread Im not gonna argue, but you know that by pulling aside, I mean just let them go and avoid the conflict. There are many ways you can avoid a conflict.
Like this guy here at first is just trying to avoid the conflict.
