the saddest part is the the ball landed in front of him, he could have scored, not like a lost opportunity that decided to take a dive on, god football refereeing is cancer.

Yeah, btw did you notice his struggle here with his bluff decision ? Should he represent he'd been hit in the head or in the throat ?

the funny thing is that the most outrageous the reaction to being "hit" is, the more fake it is.
Like if they get elbowed hard in your eye socket you just bend and put your hands on it in pain, but when they jump, scream and roll like they were on fire you know for sure that they are faking it.
I think FIFA deliberately doesnt improve the refereeing structure to create more drama and emotion among the fans, kind of like in the WWE when the referee pretends to not see or something and people go nuts.

He cant, his right leg is stuck between the legs of the defender, not that its a faul, its just a nice positioning by the defender hence the simulation :D

The suarez bit is tough...They really should implement some type of replay watching for ref to make calls on what seems like tough spots.

My point is that they dont want to, a shitty referee is dramatic, people hate them, they yell at them, curse and get more emotionally invested.
In the NFL they have 7 referees on the field and they can review replays, you often see yellow flags flying and have no fucking clue what happened, in football accusations about bought referees are an everyday occurrence, actually in that match all fans of Paris and Real Madrid bitched about refereeing corruption.

Have you played football at a pace that is greater than walking? Suarez beat the defender and had better position to make an attempt at the ball and the penalty is fine. Its a very borderline decision but the right one. If you are the defender you play close to the rules like in an inferior position you just "nudge" the attacker and go "OOPS". At those speeds it doesn't take much to put someone off balance. If you want a ROFL thread worthy moment from that match go look up Özil celebrating Cavanis goal.
However i know where you are all coming from. I used to hate how C. Ronaldo just kicked the ball away and ran into the closest opponent and always got a free kick out of it.

They do it because they recognize it as a threat. Sooner or later they will figure out it is dead
