you can watch the video of the phil hellmuth bad beat on pokerstatic.com, they talk about all the players being classless etc

Damn that Phil Hellmuth hand on pokerstatic, what a douchebag DN and Tony G. Wtf.

TBB   United States. Jun 10 2010 03:40. Posts 781

okay the pokerstatic version SUCKS...commentary really takes away from it. those guys just have an irrational hatred for DN and a hard on for hellmuth. yes, DN's personality kinda tilts me sometimes too. honestly guy on the left sounds like a pissed off fanboy in that commentary. i mean he's letting his voice get really high pitched out of control and it's kinda ridiculous. obviously they're trying to tilt hellmuth lol why make a big deal out of it? theyre just lucky that the only version of that video that is out right now has their annoying commentary over it.

/rant...wish i could make up for it by posting something funny but this is the only place i get funny stuff from

poker and stuff

I think its justice that helmuth has turned into a joke on these shows.

Now I really am a busto. Thanks FTP.

lol i was laughing for like 30 sec

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

I hate to do this in the rofl thread, but i saw the poker static video.

who here doesn't get that what Phill hellmuth did was a sick slowroll, maybe unintentional but it was.

It didn't seem like a slowroll at all, he just wanted to guarantee that the opponent would put the money in by pretending to be on a draw that he had to commit to. It seemed fairly standard to me.

If the argument is that there is no way that the opponent would ever fold their then I think it's a poor argument, seen far sicker or stranger folds.

no u fail, opponent was obv raising for value there and not fold and if he had air he is folding regardless, also Hellmuth didnt say "oh i was luring him in" he clearly states that he was afraid of tens full.

phil the nit helmuth cbets in massive pot into 4 peoples and someone comes over the top getting like 1:3 or 1:4 for calling a shove, seriously you think phil needs to rep a draw?

Jun   Croatia. Jun 10 2010 14:44. Posts 825

He has 3 9's with an ace kicker, its a very good hand but it's not like he has quads.
He was considering to shove or maybe flatcall since the big black guy is obv a huge fish, it's not like he's 24 tabling and thinks megafast, we're talking about phill hellmuth here.

He obv showed because there were alot of cards that he didnt want to see( J,8,spade etc etc) and the black guy obv thinks he's got hellmuth crushed. Who is he anyway
