It was hilarious because it was completely unexpected and because Petrov is turning into a legend for so many reasons, but I don't expect the majority of people to understand what it's all about and I wouldn't post such stuff in the rofl thread. So the flaming is probably well deserved.
Hey Baal rallying is not the best example for flying, there are airplanes you know and even on wheels there are probably better examples And what matters more, it doesn't make it funnier than an f1 car jumping like that, you just use every chance to flame f1 because the sport you like isn't as popular. You shouldn't care so much about that, just enjoy what you like man
My work is of high quality, cheap and fast. Pick only two of those though.

I thought the F1 pics were funny but I watch F1. During the broadcast they showed the cockpit replay first and you had no idea of the air time. Then they cut to him flying and it was funny. For an F1 car to get air born like that is not only hard but also rare.
