2 million in 3 cases = average of 666,666 dollars in each case... the bank offers 600k so if he takes the deal he looses 60k in equity.
So basically he pays 60k to erase that 30% of possiblity to not win anything... so taking the deal is the best option BY FAR (unless u are a millionare who can gamble for that extra equity), but these morons get caugh up in the hype.. the bank would probably offer him 666k and he would still say NO DEAL LOL.
i would like to see this woman from earlier in the thread get offered 666k by the banker

So if there are 50 boxes, the odds you pick a million are 3/50 (there were 3 million boxes right?) so yeah, the BEST option would be to never take a deal and open the two OTHER boxes that you didnt pick.
