I think (if this is not already the case) prizepool should be divided in tems of equity so if i put up $400 and someone else on my team puts up $100 my $400 represents 80% of my teams volume so if my team wins I get 80% of the winnings.
Is this how the structure will work? |

obv...
and cosmo,
1. if mig completely refuses to be a captain there's no way we can make him
2. he will only play the highest buyin tournaments anyway, so he may not be as big an asset to any team as you might initially think, compared to another player who's less good but still decent, and is prepared to play a lot more tournaments, and so will have a greater chance at making more scores
3. the plan is (once we finalise the captains) to have a private captains' tournament, where the order of elimination of captains in the tournament will determine the order captains get to pick players in the draft
i hope this will generate lots of interest and excitement, as well as lots of sidebet action and lively discussion and speculation.
as twistedecho said, it would be really cute if when this thing gets underway we get our own MTT CHALLENGE section of the forums, and we get temporary mod powers to make sticky threads and stuff like that |

I think people overestimate how good I would be for this contest. I am not going to play that many tourneys. There is no way I will play close to 300 like echo. In terms of tlb points I dont know how much help I will be.
Plus I dont want to be captain |

pokerdb does not list the 180's which count toward TLB points.
Besides this, ket I dont think we should make this a TLB point tally race. I think we should find a good way to score tournaments of each player based on results listed in the pokerdb, because the pokerdb just lists tournament cashes which is perfect, and if we do a TLB thing, anyone can abuse the $4 180's and rack up a ton of TLB points which is just lame.

feel free to fill in my little form thing when you wanna enter draft instead of posting 2 words, you assholes!
cosmo, i already put in the rules any multitable sng won't count, so this is not a strict tlb point race. ofc we will use pokerdb for this, we already thought of that dw
raszi and frinkx, we already decided a good amount to use per team is 500$. we can bump it up to more once all the teams are formed, by mutual agreement with the players drafted. unfortunately you can't be making your own random 2 person teams up, since this is a team based competition which aims to bring people of the site together. theres no reason you guys should be allowed such special treatment that you can just ruin how we want to run it. But as I said, we'll hold a captains tournament to determine player picking order in the draft, if you do well in this it'll increase your likelihood of being able to pick Elky first before anyone else can in the first round of the draft pickings. edit: oh yeah, tell elky to sign up for the draft here, to make this even possible.
You're always free to make your own private sidebets on top. For example, I believe mig.com and twistedecho said those two would like to compete with you two (speaking to Raszi and Elky) for a 2vs2 TLB race, counting all tlb points including those from multitable sngs that give TLB for a 20k sidebet (5k from each player). |

i'd participate, but then i'd be burning $$ playing a ton of stupid low buyin events on a site that i hate because if i participated, i'd want to win |

1) interested (if there are other low limit players - i dont want to be the only low stakes newb in it )
2) dunno how many hours, but speaking in number of tournaments: 2-3 / day.
3) up to 30+3 freezeouts, or 5+1 rebuys
4) not much, 40-50$ max. |
